4. Correspondence and Announcements: None 5. Minutes: Minutes were approved as emailed Motion to approve, Sid, K2GG, second, Art,

W2REN. Approved by acclamation. 6. Treasurer’s Report: Bonnie, KC2JVS, summarized the income and expenses for May. Motion to

accept, Sid, K2GG. second, Joe, AC2IJ. Approved by acclamation. 7. Committee Reports

A. VE Testing: Sid, K2GG, reported a new Extra. Sid reminded the members that the new Extra Class question pool is effective July 1 and looks to be harder than the current test.

B. Trustee Report: Sid, K2GG had nothing new for this month.

C. Membership: Mike, K8BQ, nominated Pete, KC2KI. This brings the club to 80 members.

D. Technical Committee report: Bruce, N2XP, reported we will be looking to further check out the line after Field Day. Bob, WX2I if working on a flow chart of how the repeater works.

E. Swap & Shop/Tech Net: Bruce, N2XP reported that we have a lot of check ins but not much for sale. We can always use additional net control stations. Contact Bruce at N2XP@arrl.net.

F. Web Report: None this month.

G. Spectrum: Eric, N2KOJ needs articles. Please send articles or news items to Eric at

N2KOJ@optonline.net. 8. Old Business: FD volunteers are needed June 25 & 26. Set up starts 8 AM on the 25th.

Jay, K2TTT and Justin, NE2V will need help getting up their wire beam. Bill, N2VUG is bringing his tower Bill, K2UNK will be setting up 6 meters Antenna analyzer training will be held for training bonus points. K2RFK and N2TM will bring analyzers. FD message will be copied by Justin, NE2V Safety Officer will be Mike, KC2CSV Messages to SM will be sent by Larry, W2SWX Food will be provided by Dave, N3UXK, assisted by Barb Bob, K2RFK will provide a coffee bar Eric, W2KOJ will promote FD on Twitter Bonnie, KC2JVS has created a Facebook event

9. New Business:

a. Bob, WX2I displayed the Buddipole antenna he constructed and the discussed what he had built

b. Bennett, AC2NI told the club that W2LGY had expressed an interest in linking his two Fusion repeaters at St Barnabas and Englewood Hospital to SARA. One is VHF, the other UHF.

c. It was also asked if there was a way to link into the Skywarn net Thursdays at 9:00
