Technology blogs focus on writing and editing interesting articles, how-tos, they try to make the content that they present be really understandable and step by step processes for beginners

Business BlogsThese blogs present many ideas for emerging companies and new entrepreneurs. They are mostly divided in many blog categories being the most important ones: start up lessons for new entrepreneurs from fundraising, human resources, leadership, managing a board, marketing and product research among many other interesting blogs.

Entertainment Blogs

Most of them present articles regarding many topics depending on the blogs’ nature. They also have forums, stores, donation links etc.

Web Based Collaboration Tools Google Docs

I’ve had my Gmail account for about 3 years but never made use of Google docs. I realized is a useful tool where documents and spreadsheet can be created, edited and stored online. Files can also be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection. You are allowed to make changes to the documents you upload and changes will be saved automatically. Some of the most important tools I found were that you are able to import, create, edit and update documents and spreadsheets in various fonts and file formats, combine text with formulas, lists, tables and images.

LinkedIn Connecting Tool

I found LinkedIn very interesting as a professional networking site but also looks like a socializing webpage. I realized I am able to find people from my past jobs and professional groups also, people in my network can find me and you can add your job history and professional skills to your profile, too. You can search for jobs depending on your specific skills and education as well as you can find groups or actually create one. This is a really important tool for job seekers can use for researching companies and for seeing who they are connected with at companies where they would like to work. Those connections can help you with company research and with recommending you for employment with the company.
