A versatile multi-purposearmed helicopter, answering today’s growingdemands and responding to next-generation requirements

The H145M is the latest 4-ton class twin-engine military helicopter providing a multitude of deploymentpossibilities that result from its power, range, endurance and payload capability. The H145M is based on the rugged construction, affordability and high mission reliability of AirbusHelicopters’ proven EC145 helicopter family – which is a reference worldwide. Its UH-72A Lakota versionis in service with the U.S. Army, having over 300 ordered (more than 250 delivered), boasting anavailability rate of more than 90 percent.

The H145M is equipped with two powerful Turbomeca Arriel 2E engines – each controlled by a dual-channel full authority digital engine control (FADEC) – the H145M retains excellent performancethroughout the flight envelope, particularly when operating at altitudes of 6,000 ft and in 95 deg. Fenvironments, commonly known as “6K/95 high and hot” conditions.

Others enhancements include an upgraded transmission system and incorporation of Fenestron® tailrotor for improved anti-torque control. The latest technology glass cockpit with Helionix avionics suite –coupled with a highly capable 4-axis digital autopilot system – ensure this helicopter accomplishes thejob, no matter how demanding the mission.

The helicopter has a spacious unobstructed cabin, which is accessible through the side and rear doors, and can be fitted with a wide selection of armament – ranging from ballistic to guided ammunition, providing outstanding flexibility for all military operations from light utility to light attack.

It is perfectly suitable forIntelligence and Fires missions:• Armed Scout• Light Attack• C3i : Command, Control, Communication,Intelligence

Wide range of complementarymissions:• Air Movement / Assault• Combat Recovery / SAR• MEDEVAC / CASEVAC• Maritime Security

The H145M can be easily and quickly converted, making it a true multi-role helicopter.

From Armed Scout to LightAttack missionsEquipped with the incremental and modular weapon system HForce, the H145M can handle all types ofoperational scenarios, from conventional to asymmetric conflicts.

The range of armament configurations, from ballistic to guided weapons, provides a flexible response foreach situation. Coupled with a high-performance fire-control system, the aircraft can easily be reconfiguredinto a light attack platform.

The optimized ratio of the cabin volume to the ground footprint, along with its low sound levels and thereduced infrared signature, makes the H145M a discreet and efficient Intelligence, Surveillance, TargetAcquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) platform.

Air assault / Movement

The H145M’s long range and endurance, coupled with its large cabin space, enables the helicopter to transportup to 10 troops in a high-density air assault configuration, or a fully equipped team for special operations. The large sliding side doors and rear clamshell doors, along with the high-set main and tail rotors, offer 360-degreeapproachability with the rotors turning, while providing unparalleled safety, access and space utilization thatfacilitate troop access as well as the loading/unloading of armament and cargo.

The outstanding balance between theH145M’s weight and engine power, together with the capabilities of adoor-mounted gun, provides protectionduring the extraction and insertion oftroops in threat conditions and duringNap-of-the-Earth (NOE) flight profiles. The door gunners’ positions withtwo 7.62 mm machine gunsprovide arcs of almost 360° forsuppressive fire.Alternatively one 12.7 mm sniperrifle can be fitted.

Special OperationsThanks to its multi-role capability, combined with its outstanding fast, agile and stealthy flight capabilities, the H145M is the ideal aircraftforspecial operations. Capabilitiesinclude fast roping and rappelling. The helicopter's small footprint allowssafe and easy access to confinedareas. The typical special operationsconfiguration accommodatesmachine guns and the internal cabinvolume for a fully-equipped combatteam-ready to operate by day or night.
