Waiver and Release of Liability

I acknowledge that my participation in this physical activity can cause

potential injury to my person or property. With a full understanding of

the potential risks, I hereby assume the risks of participating in the 2016

Miss Beebe Fall Festival Beauty Pageant.

I hereby take the following actions for myself or my representatives: 1)I

WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE from ANY and ALL claims or

liabilities for death, personal injuries or damages of any kind, EXCEPT

THAT WHICH IS THE RESULT OF GROSS NEGLIGENCE

AND/OR WANTON MISCONDUCT OF PERSONS OR ENTITIES

LISTED BELOW, which arise out of or relate to my participation in the

activity, THE FOLLOWING PERSONS OR ENTITIES: 2016 Miss

Beebe Fall Festival Pageant Committee, Merle Norman Beebe and Beebe

Chamber of Commerce. 2) I AGREE NOT TO SUE ANY of the

persons or entities listed above for any of the claims or liabilities that I

have waived, released or discharged herein. 3) I INDEMNIFY AND

HOLD HARMLESS the persons or entities mentioned above from any

claims made or liabilities assessed against them as a result of my actions.

understand that I have given up substantial rights and affirm that I am

1. What is the pageant attire? Pageant dress.

2. What is the pageant walk pattern? Triangle pattern.

3. Will music play while contestants walk? No. The MC will

read contestant biographies during walk.

4. What are the pageant awards/prizes?

All division winners, runner up, and 2nd runner up will

receive a crown and sash.

Wee, Petite, Tiny & Little Category contestants will

receive a gift bag.

The Teen Category winner will also receive a gift

package valued at $150.

The Miss Category winner will also receive a gift

package valued at $600.
