Fashion and fun go together when ever there is a MISS PLUS TOPMODEL fashion show. The recent show at the Los Angeles Convention Center was just that when one of the scenes was titled “PROJECT RUNWAY.” The project was a real fun challenge given to the models to show there creative side by creating a high fashion garment made from trash bags that could not be sewn together. They could use, glue, pens, staples or whatever would hold it together without sewing it. The final results were previewed at the show. The results were AMAZING! There was one model who’s outfit was selected as the winner of the Project Runway award, Miss Danielle Cintron, As seen above.

Joanne Rallo was born and raised, and currently resides in San Pedro, CA. Joanne worked in marketing for many years, but currently, enjoys being a plus size model. She is also a part-time bartender and has worked many years with a non-profit organization to raise money for needy charities. Joanne enjoys planning and coordinating events for friends and family, loves to belly dance and is also a die-hard fan of Italian soccer (being 100% Italian, how can you not be?!)

She has also recently expanded her modeling career (runway, print, fit, TV and commercials) and she claims, “It has become a pure joy to thrive in this industry and be a positive example to all curvy women, that we too can make our mark on this industry.”

Today, Joanne hopes to bring awareness to all curvy women, to learn how to embrace their curves. “Even though we are all different shapes, what we all have in common are our curves, and our curves are beautiful. It's just like the saying goes..."women are like country roads - the best ones have curves."

Joanne’s biggest accomplishment thus far, (besides winning the crown of Miss Plus Top Model 2014) was getting her Bachelor's degree in Journalism & Public Relations, with also a Minor in

Casting for Miss Plus Top Model Orlando

Joanne Rallo won over $2000 in gifts and prizes and the title of MISS PLUS TOP MODEL 2014. Some of the prizes were a plane ticket, and an all expense paid trip in Orlando Florida, where she was checked into one of the top Hyatt Hotels. Her trip Included judging a Barbizon talent competition, selecting and crowning a new Miss Plus Top Model Orlando, and she also had the opportunity to have lunch and dinner with top agents from around the world.
