Mission of the Week

(FAR EAST BROADACASTING COMPANY)

One of the highlights of my job is meeting listeners

from around the world who share remarkable stories

of how their newfound faith in Christ has profoundly

changed their life. I often need a translator to under-

stand their words, but I don’t need a translator to

comprehend their joy!

I’m reminded of a Cambodian woman I met last year

who lived in a simple tin hut with her young

daughter. While visiting her, we saw several boxes of

radios stacked in a corner. When asked why she had

so many, she said, “When I have extra income, I buy

radios to give to others, so they, too, can listen to

FEBC and discover who Christ is. I want their lives to

be as blessed as mine.”

This woman really is blessed! She not only received

God’s gift of salvation, she also chose to thank God

by sharing her riches with others.

I see this same generosity in our circle of ministry

partners. You give as a thank you to God, knowing

that you are making the life-changing gospel

available to someone who has not yet heard. Your

sacrificial giving touches the hearts of millions of

listeners who tune in every day.

Thank you for your faithfulness

to God...and FEBC!
