NEW PICTORIAL DIRECTORIES are ready for you
to pick up at the table in the lobby following the
morning services this Sunday. If your picture appears
in the directory, one is free to your family. If you wish
to purchase one, the cost is $5.00. GBC caps are also
available for $12.00 each or two for $20.00.
SIGN UP FOR MASTERMIND CLASSES at the table
in the lobby today. The conversational group studies
are being conducted by Jim Clabaugh for eight weeks
on Fridays and Saturdays beginning July 8 and 9. See
the insert in this bulletin.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE: The Grace Missionary
Fellowship ladies are hosting a drive for school
supplies for our Indian mission agencies. Please bring
your donations on either Sunday, July 10 or 17.
OUTSIDE GREETERS play a crucial role in making
both first-time visitors and members feel welcomed at
church. We are seeking someone to organize outside
greeters for the first service. If you would like to help,
please contact Pastor Charlie in the church office.
THE GBC ISRAEL TRIP (March 21-April 1, 2017) is
down to 20 remaining openings. If you are interested
in going on the trip, please contact Pastor Charlie at
623-972-6414 for details. Once the bus is filled,
interested individuals will need to be placed on a
waiting list.
THE MEN’S MINISTRY VISITATION TEAM meets
the first Tuesday of each month in the Library to visit
male parishioners who are now homebound. If you are
interested, please join the team this Tuesday, July 5, at
1:00 pm in the Library.
DURING THE MONTH OF AUGUST there will be
no Sunday evening services. Instead, we invite you to
come hear Pastor Charlie Dyer present his “ISIS
Crisis” series on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm
August 10, 17, 24, and 31.
Mission of the Week
(FAR EAST BROADACASTING COMPANY)
One of the highlights of my job is meeting listeners
from around the world who share remarkable stories
of how their newfound faith in Christ has profoundly
changed their life. I often need a translator to under-
stand their words, but I don’t need a translator to
comprehend their joy!
I’m reminded of a Cambodian woman I met last year
who lived in a simple tin hut with her young
daughter. While visiting her, we saw several boxes of
radios stacked in a corner. When asked why she had
so many, she said, “When I have extra income, I buy
radios to give to others, so they, too, can listen to
FEBC and discover who Christ is. I want their lives to
be as blessed as mine.”
This woman really is blessed! She not only received
God’s gift of salvation, she also chose to thank God
by sharing her riches with others.
I see this same generosity in our circle of ministry
partners. You give as a thank you to God, knowing
that you are making the life-changing gospel
available to someone who has not yet heard. Your
sacrificial giving touches the hearts of millions of
listeners who tune in every day.
Thank you for your faithfulness
to God...and FEBC!
Until all have heard,
