Live the Liturgy If you really want to get to know someone, invite them to dinner. Sharing a meal
with someone opens up the door to a deeper, more intimate, and more authentic
encounter. When we gather around a table, we are more vulnerable and are reminded not
only of our need for food and sustenance, but also the love of friends and community. We
are meant to be together. Meals can be opportunities not only for authentic meetings, but
for healing relationships, for understanding one another better, and for renewal. Jesus
invites us to dine with Him once again at today's Eucharist. He receives our pain and
blesses our wounds. We are forgiven, set straight, renewed, and reconfirmed in our task
of discipleship. Love is celebrated here again. May we bring that love to those who need
it most, especially those we may find difficult to love and to those who have hurt us.
Share with them the bread of compassion and the wine of mercy.
May Devotions During May we have an
opportunity to thank Mary,
Mother of God, for all the
blessings and favors that we
received from God through Her
intercessions. The 5:30 p.m.
Mass, Tuesday through Thurs-
day and 6:00 p.m. on Friday in
May is celebrated, followed by the Expo-
sition of the Blessed Sacrament and sing-
ing of the Litany to the Blessed Mother. Please join us.

First Communion is not only the introduction of a child into fuller community participation;
it is also a reminder to adults of their own faith commitment.
At Baptism the parents of these children committed to raising them in the faith
so that now we can welcome them to our Eucharistic Table. Please join us in praying
for them and their families as they continue their journey of faith.
Third Sunday of Easter It is the most profound, beautiful and most
deeply personal question we can ever ask or be asked
by anyone: ‘Do you love Me?’ Peter is asked this very
question by Jesus three times. Peter had run from the
Cross and had denied Jesus three times. Cursing and
swearing he cried, ”I tell you I do not know Him”.
And then the cock crowed. Now, here to prick his
conscience at early morni ng by the fire – with bread
and fish, with a miraculous draught, and asking for His love three times, Jesus
reminds Peter all that He has done for him and implicitly forgives him by
commissioning him to go forth and feed the lambs. Peter has to be fed by Christ by love and prayer first.
Jesus is telling Peter that out of love for him He must hand over his fate to
the Lord in His service. John was writing this account after Peter had died a
martyr’s death in Rome by crucifixion. Jesus sees the potential in all of us too
to do great things for Him and out of love for Him in the Church and in the
world as His witnesses, but we all have to come to that point where we have to
answer the question for ourselves – the leap, as it were, to an adult faith, by
answering the question Jesus asks of Peter today and which is extended to all of
us - you and me - ‘Do YOU love Me?’

Why Do We Do That? - Catholic Life Explained
Question:
How do I bring God into the work of my daily life?
Answer:
Whatever your daily work, you have an opportunity to encounter
God and to follow His commandments in love. In the New
Testament, we see that most of the Apostles didn't have a
previous religious position. They were fishermen, tax collectors,
and political activists. St. Paul was a tentmaker. Among the
saints, we have doctors, lawyers, farmers, and stay-at-home
moms. No matter your daily tasks, God can be present there!
One way concerns behavior. Start with an examination of conscience. Look at areas where you tend to struggle to imitate
Christ at work. Do you gossip? Does brimming frustration
become impatience at home? Pick one sin you struggle with, then
choose a virtue to strengthen that area. If you tend to speak
poorly of your co-workers, resolve to stop and to say one kind
thing a day instead.
Another way relates to perspective, particularly your
perspective of others. Jesus' incarnation reminds us of the value
of every human being. Jesus is God, and each of us is created in
God's image. When you encounter another person, you have an
opportunity to see God in a new place and a new way - in that person in front of you. Genuinely listen to them and be present to
their concerns. Loving your neighbor is loving God! Our
relationship with God and the love He inspires in our hearts
shouldn't remain only at church on Sunday. We can - and should
- let our faith animate our lives! Nabożeństwa Majowe Tradycyjnie jak każdego roku w naszym Kościele odbywają
się nabożeństwa Majowe od wtorku do czwartku o godzinie 5:30
p.m. a w piątek o 6:00 p.m. Mszą świętą, a po Mszy świętej
będzie wystawienie Najświętszego Sakramentu i śpiewanie
Litanii do Matki Bożej. Zapraszamy do udzialu w tym pięknym
nabożeństwie.
Trzecia Niedziela Wielkanocna W dzisiejszej Ewangelii Chrystus zadaje trzykrotnie pytanie
św. Piotrowi, czy Go kocha. W rzeczywistości Chrystus pyta o to
kaźdego z nas. Cięźko jest odpowiedzieć na to pytanie. Jeśli się
kocha, to zazwyczaj jakąś konkretną osobę, którą widzimy.
„Byłem głodny, a daliście mi jeść, byłem spragniony, a daliście mi pić...”. „Czy
kochasz mnie?”... To pytanie powinno po dzisiejszej Mszy św.
rozbrzmiewać w sercu każdego wierzącego. I powinien on
Miłość bowiem do Boga przewyższać powinna
każdą miłość ziemską. Zostaliśmy przez Niego obdarowani tak
wielkim darem miłości, jakim była ofiara na krzyżu, że naszym
życiowym obowiązkiem jest starać sie to odwzajemnić.
