Disciplined People

Level 5 Leadership: Level 5 leaders channel their ego needs away

from themselves and into the larger goal of building a great organization. It’s not that Level 5 leaders have no ego or self-interest. Indeed, they are incredibly ambitious-but their ambition is first and foremost for the association, not themselves.

Get the “RIGHT people on the bus.”

First Who, Then What: 1. Get the RIGHT people on the bus.

2. Put the RIGHT people in the right seats on the bus.

3. Then figure out where to drive.

Old adage… “People are your most important Asset” turns out to be wrong. People are not your most important asset. The RIGHT people are.

That’s why it’s important for MSCA and MSCA Districts to have the right people in the right places.
