• Oversights are the worst mistake that can mess up everything
• It involves details in the storyline, characters or setting that doesn’t fit to the previous scenes
• For example: In your first book, you established that your main character was so shocked from the death of his fiancée that he can’t move on at all. But on your second book, you took the shortcut by romantically connecting him with another love interest without explaining what happened. This is a major oversight on your part and very unsatisfying for readers.

Solution:• Don’t try to create nonsensical events or elements just to
solve all problems in the story• Try not to make any unnecessary changes to make your
plotline continuous• But if you need to make radical developments in the story,
then establish a transition and explain what happened with enough details

• For instance: In the first and second book, your main character was a lawyer but in the succeeding books, he became a journalist or a contractor. Does that make sense? Your readers won’t think so.

ending for your first up to your fourth book (if you're writing a five-book series). But you have to answer the why and all other answers at the ending of the last book.
• And make it a point to create a good ending that your readers would enjoy!
