Chile is located In South America

The absolute location of Chile is between 30°

and 71°.

Chile is to the right of the Pacific Ocean and

to the left of Argentina.

Santiago is beautiful and the largest city in

Chile and one of the most modern places in

South America because of the economy. The

people of Santiago are called Santiaguinos

and there is over 5 million people living

there.

Financial center of Santiago

The Andes Mountains go through Chile and

several other countries. Chile has the world’s

driest desert in the world called San Pedro

de Atacama The Andes mountain San Pedro de Atacama

The people of Chile have a lot of nicknames as residents of Chile, but my favourite one is Chilenitos.

One of the many foods they eat in Chile is called Empanadas de Horno. Like in many places through out South America Chilenitos love to play soccer which they call futbol.

This is called Empanadas

The president of Chile is Sebastian Piñera. He was elected in 2010. The president serves for four years.

The proper money of Chile is called peso.

White: Stands for the snow on the Andes

Red: Stands for the blood of patriots who

fought for independence

Blue: Stands for the blue Skies

The star: Emphasizes the fact that Chile is a

Unitarian republic as opposed to a Federal

republic

People move to Chile because it has one of

the fastest growing economies. Europeans

move there the most.

You have a chance of having a good business

if you are a fisherman, fruit business, or a

paper and pulp business.

Easter Island is one of the cool and mysterious

places of Chile and has people living there.

Scientists still do not know why or who built the

heads (Moy).

Did you know that the people of Chile are

usually European or Mestizo and have

indigenous backgrounds.

A major language in Chile is Spanish.
