Blenders for solid products
Micron Proces has the whole range of blenders for solid
products, in discontinuous and continuous, designed for
the mixing of powders and additions of liquids. Units
conceived to be employed at all the sectors
(nourishment, drugstore, cosmetics, minerals, fodder,
etc.).
Depending on the products to treating, and their bulk
densities, the type of blender is selected, as well as the
proportions to mixing and the degree of cleanliness for
every change of product.

CONICAL BLENDER
CONICAL BLENDERThe conical blenders are composed basically by a conical
base and an endless screw that takes charge of the rotation
and the adjournment of the product. The above mentioned
endless screw rotates on itself and this acts as vertical
transport of the product.
The consumption of energy of this type of blenders is
reduced due to the fact that the particles that have been
raised by the endless screw fall down towards the bottom of
the blender to be raised and transported again.
The time of mixture of the conical blenders use to have an
average 10-15 minutes.
The advantages that we find in the conical blenders are the
following ones: Soft mechanical treatment , ideal for handling solid,
granulated or products sensitive to the heat, since the
increase of temperature is minimal. It is possible to realize a complete unload without there
stay remains of the treated product.
Ideal blender for processing small lots and with mixtureproportions of 1:5000 parts .
Due to the low speed of the elements of mixture, the wear
of these is minimal, for what its maintenance is only of oil
and fat for the transmission.

CONICAL MIXER
Detail of two unloads in parallel belonging to a conical blender
of 1.500 useful liters in steel inox AISI-316. This system isused to canalize the product to two different routes of
process.
In this photo we can emphasize the utility of a conical blender in process of dosing and mixing, we can observe the endless
screws for dosing product and the load cells installed with a dosing equipment and automatic mixture.
This blender of 5.000 liters (total), polished mirror, was designed in execution AISI-304 for all the parts in contact with product,especially for nourishing products. With apparent final densities of 0,7 gr/cm 3.

HIGH TURBULENCE BLENDER
The high turbulence blenders are made up of a cylinder, placed horizontally,and a longitudinal axle with plough shovels which provoke the agitation of theparticles.We can install high speed agitators , which can be mounted perpendicularly tothe body and produce a cutting effect capable of breaking agglomerates.The heat that can be created due to the turbulence to which the product issubmitted is removed thanks to the air of sweep of the lockers.This type of blender carries out mixtures with proportions of 1-10.000 parts .The advantages that we find in the conical blenders are the following ones: The time of mixture ranges between the 3 and 5 minutes. It is perfect to mix moisten powdered products with watery, oily liquids
and even with melted fats. The useful volume supposes 70 % that allows obtaining an idealperformance and efficiency.

LABORATORY BLENDER
High turbulence blender (laboratory type) made in AISI-304

HORIZONTAL BLENDER
Blender Transmission
Detail of the whole driving activating unit belonging to an
industrial bands blender. The reducer is moved by an engine
with pulleys and belts and its exit to the coupling platen; and
this one to the axle of the machine supported by an exterior
bearing (armoured type).

HORIZONTAL BLENDER
MB HORIZONTAL BLENDER
The horizontal blenders of Micron Proces work being based
on a flow of currents that go from the ends to the center of the
blender and vice versa. The spirals are connected to the axle
so that it provokes the horizontal intermingle of the product.
This mixing axle is supported by means of external bearings.
To obtain a closed-and-sealed system with the body of the
blender we can use stuffing-box or bearings that depending on
the product to handle can be pressurized by air .
The horizontal blender is the most used for any type of
products in powder.
It is easy to find it in industries of minerals, nourishing,
chemical and drugstore.
The advantages that we find in the conical blenders are the
following ones:
Its horizontal design allows taking advantage of the space
in case of not having height.
The discharge is produced by means of a valve placed in the
center of the low part facilitating the movement of the axle.
The horizontal blender does not treat the product equal ofsoft the conical blender but it continues without having a
degree of considerable temperature .

V-SHAPED BLENDER
V-SHAPED BLENDER
This type of blenders can process products from 1 to 10.000 parts in a time between 3 and 5 minutes.
It works taking advantage of the gravity force and it obtains minimal consumptions. A connected axle is the manager
of the draft of the body who has two mouths of load and one of unload, supported on benches of support. The own
axle is connected to the body of the blender that is driven by means of a gear motor.
The principal characteristics of the blenders in "V" are that their interior is smooth , by what the accumulation of
product is avoided in the corners and this way a rapid cleanliness is obtained.
The principal function of this type of blenders is to homogenize products in powder and even with incorporation of
some liquid element. They are perfect to process small quantities of product, due to the fact that the rotary system of
mixture is realized rapidly and simply.There exists the possibility of installing an intensifier bars with pins or hammers inside the blender. And its operation is
carried out by an engine at 1500 - 3000 r.p.m. depending on the model of the blender.
The execution of these equipments can be of carbon steel or stainless steel AISI-304 mirror polished interior and
exterior.

V-SHAPED BLENDER
This type of blender is used successfully in sectors as the
pharmacist, the nourishing, chemical, etc. Its principal
characteristic is that it can be employed at the process of
mixture of products of very different grain and apparent
density.

BICONICAL BLENDER
BICONICAL BLENDER
These blenders are formed by two linked to each other cones by means of a cylindrical ferrule. In this ferrule we find the axles of the
machine welded to the body by means of brackets, which provokes a perfect alignment. They are also formed by a hermetic and
rapid closing lid for load of materials and a discharge opening with a butterfly valve placed in the end of the group. This provokes aperfect tight of the machine .
The useful capacity of the Biconical blender is 65 % of its total volume . The time of mixture ranges between 10 and 20 minutes at
the maximum.
This type of blenders is ideal when the products to be mixed are of a fineness and density not very unlike and difficultly to get
lumpy.
Also we have the possibility of installing this type of blender automating the load and unload automatically by means of pneumatic
closings as well as double chamber to use it as dryer.
The Biconical blenders are conceived to be employed especially at pharmaceutical and nourishing industries . Due to its
functionality in cleanliness and speeds this type of machine is used in processes where very precise cleanlinesss are needed for
the changes of products.It also allows to install an intensifier unit inside the machine for delumping the products during the period of dried or to mix
homogeneously products in powder .
