Mizu uses a superior type of glass called borosilicate, which is more resistant to thermal shock than other types of glass (think Pyrex). This means it is microwave and dishwasher safe and can hold hot liquids too. Mizu uses Borosilicate glass where the main glass-forming con-stituents include silica and boron trioxide. Borosilicate glass is microwave and dishwasher safe because of its very low coefficients of thermal expansion (~3 × 10−6 /°C at 20 °C), mak-ing the glass resistant to thermal shock, more so than any other common glass.

All stainless steel is not the same! Any alloy combination with at least 18% nickel can be considered stainless steel, but to be qualified as ‘food grade’ it must contain a minimum of 8% chromium. Mizu uses only the highest quality 18/8 food grade stainless steel consisting of 74% iron, 18% nickel and 8% chromium.

BRYAN IGUCHITurning pro in 1992, Bryan Iguchi made his name in the top echelons of snowboarding with his progressive park and pipe riding in contests across the globe. The custom bottles create a an amazing marketing opportunity at the event, and long afterwards with people taking their stainless steel water bottle home with them. This package includes at least one Mizu representative on-site at your event that will set up, maintain and tear down the Mizu Water Bar and requires a minimum bottle purchase of 200 custom bottles.
