Part 2 – How Pathfinders is constructed and governed Governed by a 5 member Steering Committee Members serve on the committee for a 2 year term Members can serve 2 consecutive terms only, must rotate off Committee governed by a set of bylaws Committee attempts to meet at least 3 times each calendar year Committee presents 2 full orientation sessions as a team each year Committee developed a logo and mission statement Committee has an Administrative Liaison who serves as an advisor 3 positions – Chairperson, Secretary, Facilitator Each mentor/mentee partnership is assigned a liaison from the
committee After the 6 month partnership is completed – the mentor and mentee
both complete an evaluation form
Part 3 – How Pathfinders markets the program to all library staff All new employees receive a packet on their first day from Admin.
(The program is described with contact information. All new employees also receive a form letter within a few weeks.)
Pathfinders has links on the Intranet – currently updating to a Wiki Visuals – full page colored flyer at all staff lunchrooms at branches Pathfinders has an Outlook Email address, and mailbox at CBA
