Subsidiary of Arkema, MLPC International has developed over nearly 60 years its expertise in the chemistry of CS2 (carbon sulfur), cyanogen chloride (CNCl) and amines.
MLPC International is a worldwide leader or co-leader in the production and sales of additives for the rubber industry (thioureas, guanidines and rubber chemical masterbatches) and fine chemicals intermediates such as carbazides and isothiocyanates.
The turnover of MLPC International reached 47 million euros in 2006. 88 % of the sales are made outside France: 55 % in Europe (excluding France), 15 % in North and South America and 8 % in Asia.
Certified to ISO 9001: 2000 since 2001.

Our history
1939 Creation of a joint stock company : "Manufacture Landaise de Produits Chimiques"
1944 First listing of MLPC share on the Paris Stock Exchange
1945 Development of the production of paints from light oils then rosin oils
1949 Beginning of the chemical activity (synthetic products for the rubber industry)
1955 Construction of a new plant in Lesgor
1966 Stopped the carbonisation activities and concurrently launched of new rubber chemicals (thioureas)
1989 Elf Atochem becomes the main shareholder of MLPC (67,2 %)
1995 Purchase of the carbazides business from Degussa
1998 The company's name is changed into MLPC International
2000 Start-up of the unique masterbatch plant
2005 MLPC International becomes a 100 % subsidiary of Arkema group (previously Elf Atochem then Atofina)
1926
Creation of the"Société Landaise de Produits Chimiques" producing wood derivatives (charcoal, tar and pyroligneous) from the raw material of the region : pine trees.

Since 1979, MLPC International has developped a series fine chemicals taking advantage of its chemistry and expertize.
MLPC International operates a multi-purpose reactor at its Lesgor plant.
The fine chemicals activity benefits from the synergy with the H2S chemistry of Arkema and the support of its Research Center of Lacq (GRL).
