DISCUSSION
Meteorological data were recorded and reduced by the i, Sinds Me!-,r-olugjicaI
Team, Atmospheric Sciences Laboratory (ASL), White Sand , Mis.;ile R 12 1, w !,cxico.
The data were obtained by the following methods:
1. Observations
a. Surface
(1) Standard surface observations !o include pressure, t: iritore
(°C), relative humidity, dew point (°C), density (gm/in3), Wind dire.ctiin and speed,
and cloud cover were made at the Snake Met Site at T-(0 rue.
(2) Anemometer data were provided from existing pole-mounted and
tower-mounted anemometers at LC-33. Monitor of wind speed arid directior, fro,' one
anemometer was diso provided in the launch control room.
b. Upper Air
(1) Low level wind data were obtained from RAPIS T-9 pihal observa-
tion at:
