THE ONE-TAKE WAS REAI.r.Y A REVELATION rROH THE LORD. When we first heard about the idea, some of us were a little fearful to try it, but as we obeyed vour counsel it was so miraculous how well it works. TYJ! Trom 13-year-old Ivana; Europe:

MY VISIT AT MWM TOTALLY CHANGED HY LITE. On. day a couple in the Family in Italy received a letter from Angelo £ Sarah asking them to go to Greece to record some Italian songs. So, I went there with this couple to help with their kids. There I saw how hard everyone works £ how much love thev have for each other. They are really working for Jesus & His reign, especially Jeremy Spencer--he always goes to work early in the morning £ comes back at night for a video. GBH! (*-—•')

From Gallio; Europe: I ARRIVED AT MWM FROM

SOUTH AFRICA. £ Solomon £ Phoebe met me at the airport £ brought me back to the camp where a beautiful little tent was waiting for me. I had planned to spend my first night in a hotel, because the plane got in so late £ I didn't know how convenient it would be for someone to meet me.

SO YOU CAN IMAGINE MY SURPRISE t DELIGHT TO SEE SMILING SOLOMON £ BEAUTIFUL

someone they had known in their life-time who had gone on before.

WELL. I KNOW I WAS EXPERIENCING THE DEATH OF MOVING £ especially the spiritual moving as the door to one place of my life closed £ another was opening. How scriptural then to be met by two old friends £ escorted to the camp. I was so happy!

MY TIRST MORNING AT THE

ArRAlD TO COME OUT Or MY TENT. I peeked out of my window £ recognised Zach Lightman fixing coffee on a little camp stove, so I went out to see him. Zach £ I had worked together a little with video way back in London when he had just joined, so it was a happy

PHOEBE THERE AT THE AIRPORT! reunion. 1 met Lydia, his Just a few minutes before landing I was thinking about the quote, "How like death Moving is," ( then I was thinking about how in the Latter "Life after Death" that the people who died were met by friends or loved ones on the other side—

wife, £ their 2 children, £ they kind of "adopted" me into their little family.

IT JUST HAPPENED TO BE FREE DAY, so there was lots of time to relax, fellowship, share testimonies £ get re-acquainted. All day long people came passing by

the tent, some familiar faces from the past, some familiar only from the FN, £ some completely new—but all smiling, friendly £ so full of love!

IN THE EVENING ZACH £ LYDIA IlfVITED ME TO. WALK, WITH THEM TO THE NEARBY VII. LAGE FOR PIlfHER- And when we got back to camp we sat outside for awhile £ then said our goodnights. I went to my tent £ just sat in a chair reviewing the events of the day £ thanking the Lord for the privilege of being here. Then I heard a sweet voice calling me outside the tent. It was Lydia, £ she just wanted to be sure everything was alright! Everything was alright, but everything was a whole lot better after her visit! GBH! I sure felt at home!

WELL. THIS IS ONLY MY 3RD DAY HERE, but already I could write a book about all the inspiring devotions, videos, RDs £ countless little acts of love that I've seen so far. But to try to summarise my overall reac-

manifested here—love in action: it's that multinational love that Topaz s incs about in "Love is an Emotion", evervone looking out for the things of others.

ALSO. EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE REALLY ANOINTED FOP THEIR MINISTRIES. £ whether great or small, there is mutual respect for that anointing--such a picture of the body fitly loined together, governed by the Holy Spirit! I could never express what a privilege it is to he here, but I'm beginning to understand what the verse means about preferring to be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord!

I'D ALSO LIKE TO TAKE THIS TIME TO TELL HOW SORRY I AH TOR HOW I'VE STRAYED IN THE PAST TEW YEARS. Although I never stopped reporting or tithinc, I surely backslid in spirit thru my disobedience £ compromising £ was just going thru the mot ions--had pone to sleep £ left my engine running.

again, only they are definitely new, improved classes! Ha!

I LOVE THE TAPE ON SCHED-ULEJi, £ it certainly works— we have more time for everything, £ it also helps everyone to be more unified. The children fit into it well too, as their school time is my work time in the mornings.

YOU SAY ABOUT CHILDREN: I love teaching them myself but realise that it is quite a load for me as a mother too. If the older ones do go to school, it means that I will have more time for the younger ones who need it in the earlier years. I totally agree with you about sending them to school; I don't know why we didn't do it here. I think Greek schools would have been too hard for all the children, except Dicon £ it could have done him good, but they do have English schools here that you pay for.

ANYWAY. I DO DEFINITELY LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THEM OFF TO SCHOOL in the mornings; I think it will give them a tighter schedule £ keep them out of mischief more, £, as you said, make them more thankful for the Family. It certainly won't l.urt them!

SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE A POLICEWOMAN• keeping them all constructively busy, but I do enjoy it. Children definitely are an heritage of the Lord (I'm definitely blessed.(Ps. 127:3-5) Lord help me to stay close to Him ( you & train the children right. Puerto Pico:

I COME rpcm A TYPICAL HIGH CLASS FAMILY of Colombia, South America. In my young years I was a very shy reserved little boy. The communication between me £ my parents ever since I can remember was virtually nil, io I just resorted to hiding in my studies, lonely games £ dreams. MY FATHER ENGAGED IN A

MAD PURSUIT TOR HONEY £ wealth, £ my mother was too busy with social events, card games £ superfluous life, so finally the whole family shattered. From aee-ing so much fighting £ un-happiness amongst those closest to me, I guess I became increasingly idealistic, longing for a peaceful, better world, but at the same time verv hateful £ vengeful of the society £ the System that produced me. I started searching thirstily into everything that came my way, trying to calm my uneasiness £ find a solution for both my troubles £ those of other people.

AT 1U I BECAME INVOLVED WITH THE COMMUNIST PARTY, but after only shouting slogans, attending rallys £ arguing with others from the dry standpoint of a materialistic answer to everything, the fire flickered out £ I became disillusioned. How could I even intend to give to others something that didn't change my own inner being for the better? Then the repercussions of the youth movement in the USA began to be felt in S. America. From Senaah, Sunny & Rain: TTLI HOW WONDERFUL ARE HIS WAYS1

We were informed just before the weekend, by a brother here in town, that there was to be a convention of radio broadcasters from all of the Latin American countries: AIL. However, when we called for more info, we were told that they were only expecting about 65 people. We counselled together & sent a first scouting team of Sunny & Senaah to the hotel in downtown Miami where every one was to be gathering for this convention, to see also whether it was necessary for many of the sisters to go down on a big attack, or what.

WE DID A LITTLE SCOUTING AROUND & info gathering once we got there, & discovered that all the guests had not yet arrived, but the hotel clerk even let us see a list of names of who was expected, etc. (The brietcase worked greatl) GB DiAnna who obeyed the Lord's check to go right to the top & talk to the secretary of the AIL & who actually was the chief organiser & schedule pusher. He immediately fell in love with us & from then on we were treated royally! He could only take two of us though, so Donato & Crystal had to wait for us elsewhere, & he invited us as his personal guests, introducing us to his associates & friends at the first banquet, Friday night. The delegates from each country gave speeches before dinner, a couple of which practically had us in tears for their people. We quickly saw that although almost every speaker tried to convince his audience that he wasn't a politician, non-involved in politics, that indeed it was quite political! There was much mention of democracy & freedom of speech, saying how great North America was along this line, the main point of reference being the Communist takeover of Cuba in 1959, & its varied effect on them. There was a terrific amount of discussion about Cuba throughout the whole conference, because it was sponsored by the influential Cubans here in Miami.

THESE BROADCASTERS & DISC JOCKEYS WERE ON FIRE FOR THEIR CAUSEI It was interesting because when we first arrived at the banquet, they were taking group pictures of the organisation for their bulletin, etc; it was like a big happy Latin family, so of course they pulled DiAnna & I right into the picture. (We will be getting a copy to send to

Vou.) Later we were to d'i\covet that we V%»d actually been included on the Executive Cour, cil or Congress of the AIL, fc v\rtu»\»Y xreared as equals with them, not participitinq in their discussions over their statutes, o1 courje These men & women were mainly the leaders or presi dents In their countries of the Broedcasteri At sociationsl

THAT FIRST NIGHT WEfROMOTED THE MCV CHRISTMAS SPECIAL, 8. had incredible response—even without anyone hiving heard the program yetl Mind you, this was a tight group of Latin leaders, with 13 Latin countries represented-all with a common goal of using their means—their tool-their tongue—the RADIO-to proclaim liberty & maintain their freedom of speech through their radio programs. We could have been considered intruders, but were actually treated n queens! GBTI Had it been an inner circle of N Americans, things sure would have been different, but thank God for the Latins!

AFTER THE BAN XIET, WE WERE INTRODUCED to the President of the Association, who extended his personal invitation to us to attend all the conferences & meals (free of charge). He was such a busy -nan, yet each day would confirm his invitation to us. Also every one we had spoken with was concerned that we were coming back & would give them a sample copy of our Christmas Special MCV tape We got to mix & mingle more personally at the hotel lobby with several of them, & get definite commitments towards the show that night. Driving home about 2 am we had a blowout right on the expressway on a bridge, & prayed for the Lord's protection-the Devil was sure mad we were going to be getting out God's Wordsl We arrived home safely. TTLI WE RETURNED ON SATURDAY with Rain

who was able to learn some of the politics in volved in producing & promoting the show. We continued to make personal contact with the delegate of each country or their aides, & established a, rapport so we would feel confident they would use the program, helping them to realise the importance of it! What a miraclel We just couldn't stop praising the Lord & thanking Him for opening these doors to get the "Especial de Navidad" on. the air in all these countries by Christmastime, for His wis-

WE D I D N ' T H A V E T I M E T O GO H O M E , so Oonato brought us our clothes & we changed in the hotel bathroom. He also brought us the 40 tapes air-expressed that day from Puerto Rico, having gotten delayed three hours due to plane trouble, but T G they did arrive still in time! Our next big surprise came when we went to the Banquet on Saturday night, when we walked into the Club & there were close to a thousand people seated for dinner-most of them decked out in fine jewel!ry & mink stoles. At the front of the banquet hall at the U shaped table of honour sat all of our friends & contacts with whom we'd spent the last 36 hours. Quite a few got up to greet us or smiled or waved.

WHEN T H E D I N N E R WAS F I N I S H E D WE BEGAN D I S T R I B U T I N G T H E TAPES to all those who'd either asked us for a copy, or expressed a large measure of interest in hearing or using the show. We had been commended by so many of them: " H o w wonderful! I can't believe you're doing thisl This is what the World needs!" That was the general consensus repeated to us over & over again! They were overwhelmed! So much so that we actually had about 5 promotors in the crowd who gave a sales pitch for us at every opportunity possible, a couple of which had listened to the tape in their own room the previous night & who loved it! One man very humorously used our legs as a point of interest in his sales pitch, & his opening line would be: "These two are promoters of lovel"...then he'd joke with them about how he hadn't been able to get any yet himselfl

THE N A T U R E OF A L L T H E DISCUSSIONS was basically communism vs. democracy in Latin America & the unifying of the Latin brotherhood, so we had questioned amongst ourselves if maybe they weren't backed by the llluminati. All the speakers were so emotional & in fact dramatic! They spoke a lot against Castro & in fact quite influential people who we talked to personally expressed desires to kit! him for all he'd done & told us Cuba was much better before Castro, & the poor Cubans there were helpless. & needed their help. Of course having known of Dad's views about Castro, we didn't get too into these conversations, but iust listened & asred a tew polite questions.

America & its wonderful broken people. They were so sincere in their campaigns & so convinced that the answer to all their problems was to maintain whatever measure of democracy or freedom of speech that they could, yet at the same time, they were touched & moved by our campaign to give the Lord's music & message to all the Spanish-speaking world!

D I A N N A G A V E A TAPE OF T H E CHRISTM A S SPECIAL T O T H E P R E S I D E N T O F T H E A I L . He was always quite warm with us though always pressed for time, & this got us a little more personal contact with him. He actually exchanged cards with DiAnna (we'd had business cards with the MCV logo & PR 312 address printed), giving us his personal home number, & saying to be sure to stay in touch. Later, when almost everyone had departed, he personally invited us to have a drink together along with 2 of his very close friends. One friend who was a doctor confessed to us that his "doctors & lawyers association" was a mere front to do everything possible to raise money to destroy Castro & Castro's Cuba. We finally said good night & headed home praising the Lord that He'd accomplished so much through us! We'd managed to distribute 20 of the 4 0 tapes PR had sent to us, which included very good possibilities of bookings in about 8 different countries.

O N T H E WAY H O M E , we discussed the possibilities of returning in the morning, as there was to be a final breakfast, & all was to be over by 12. when we thought we'd maybe get the remainder of the people their tapes. But while praying about it the next morning. Watchman through a phone call confirmed the urgency of getting the tapes to as many countries as possible as this was the only way they would ever get them before Christmas. So we repented of having been so selfish as to think we ought to not go back & finish the job, just because we were tired, & pressed for time with the D A F that afternoon, & got there about 11:30. We waited outside the door where they were meeting until they finished this time. & found out they were going to lunch. The president came over & invited us. GBH, so we got to go & talk to even more people, having no idea how much of a victory was awaiting us. There had been one man in particular who'd been one of the sheepiest 8c spiritually hungry, that had not been able to get a tape the night before, along with the others from Mexico. Panama 81 Chile

It really helped me to better understand the feelings, backgrounds & other political & cultural factors which influence these radio station owners & commentators; which of course will affect how they view our new program, Musica Con Vida.

ONE OF T H E FIRST T H I N G S which caught my attention was the highly tense atmosphere in the meetings when anything political was Drought up. There was a definite fear of communism in most of the Latin countries & a lot of references were made to Cuba & Castro & how they all had to be on the alert that another Cuba or Nicaragua didn't happen in their own backyards. They kept saying the meeting was . w . _ w . L,n^r.raiu>. i ney xept saying tne meeting was

Honduras, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Chile, Colombia, Chicago (one & a half million Spanish speaking people!), Miami, Panama. & possible bookings in Dallas, Mexico, Costa Rica. We had asked our Secretary-friend for a list cf all the names & addresses of those in the A I L Congress, in case we'd missed anyone during our time with them, & we were able to get it then, under the table. (We were not actual members nor had paid any registration fees to be given this selah info.) Also, as we were leaving, the President took my hand in a friendship shake & said, "Please don't lose my number!" I told him we would be in contact & then thanked him profusely for his hospitality & for helpinr so much! He responded, "A sus ordenes". & was so sincere & almost sorry we were leaving.
