The Carson City School District provides access to hotspot devices based on availability. These devices allow students and staff to access wireless Internet at home or on the go. However, unlike the student Chromebooks provided by the Carson City School District, these hotspots have NO Internet content filtering or activity reporting capability.

I understand that the hotspot operates on a 3rd party cellular network and that the service quality and availability will be dependent on that cellular network. Service quality and availability is not guaranteed.

I understand that the Carson City School District is not responsible for any files, data, communication, or personal information accessed, transmitted, lost, damaged or stolen while accessing the Internet via the hotspot.

The use of the hotspot is subject to the Carson City School District Acceptable and Responsible Use Policy. In addition, some schools have additional restrictions that have been put in place to better serve their student population. Please check with your student’s school to determine if any additional restrictions have been put in place.

Parents/Guardians are responsible for monitoring what their children access while using the hotspot. Therefore, all students must have parent or guardian permission to check out a mobile hotspot.

By signing below, I accept the above Mobile Hotspot Checkout Agreement and I give permission for my child to check out a mobile hotspot. I understand that there is NO Internet content filtering available on the hotspot and that I am responsible for what my child accesses on the Internet while using the hotspot. Hotspot and related items must be returned upon request, due date, or termination of enrollment.

Acuerdo de Registración de un Mobile Hotspot El Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Carson proporciona puntos de acceso a dispositivos con cobertura inalámbrica (Mobile Hotspot) según disponibilidad. Estos dispositivos permiten que los estudiantes y el personal accedan a Internet inalámbrico en el hogar o a donde ellos vayan. Sin embargo, a diferencia de los Chromebook para estudiantes proporcionados por el Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Carson, estos puntos de acceso (hotspot) no tienen filtro para el contenido de Internet ni capacidad de informe de actividad.

Tengo entendido que el punto de acceso opera en una red celular de tercera parte y que la calidad y disponibilidad del servicio dependerán de esa red celular. La calidad del servicio y la disponibilidad no está garantizada.

Entiendo que el Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Carson no es responsable de ningún archivo, datos, comunicación o información personal a la que se haya accedido, transmitido, perdido, dañado o robado mientras se accede a Internet a través del punto de acceso.

El uso del punto de acceso (hotspot) está sujeto a la Póliza de Uso Aceptable y Responsable del Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Carson. Además, algunas escuelas tienen restricciones adicionales que se han implementado para atender mejor a su población estudiantil. Consulte con la escuela de su hijo para determinar si se han implementado restricciones adicionales.

Los padres / tutores son responsables de controlar a lo que acceden sus hijos mientras usan el hotspot. Por lo tanto, todos los estudiantes deben tener permiso de un padre o tutor para visitar un punto de acceso móvil.

Al firmar a continuación, acepto el Acuerdo de Registración de Mobile Hotspot y doy permiso para que mi hijo visite un punto de acceso móvil. Entiendo que NO hay filtros de contenido de Internet disponibles en el hotspot y que soy responsable a lo que mi hijo tenga acceso a Internet mientras usa el hotspot. Punto de acceso y elementos relacionados deben ser devueltos a petición, fecha de vencimiento o terminación de la inscripción.
