• 2014 has ushered in the first 3 mobile payments apps in South Africa

• The most notable mobile pmt apps to date will be looked at in this presentation:

– Zapper– Snapscan (in partnership with Standard Bank)– Flickpay (in partnership with Wigroup)

REVIEW• Registering on all 3 apps is smooth and

seamless, taking less than 5 mins

• Experiences at merchants have been excellent, with Zapper and Snapscan improving the restaurant exit experience markedly

• The only negative we experienced was where cashier intervention was required (Flickpay), which leads to a backfiring of the experience
