Once youve collected the data, you should be able to answer most questions below.1. Find Dereks post about Personal Learning Networks on his blog. Read it and together as a group make a decision. What networked space could we, as a group of pre-service teachers, use to communicate with each other, generate ideas and support and inspire throughout this year? Once decided, go back to Dereks blog and inform him of the URL of the networked space that you would like to use. 2. Use your phone to take a photograph of your group modelling the use of one of the technologies in an educational setting. Send this photo to the email address on your ning page: firstname.lastname@example.org. Send one photo per email. The subject of the email becomes the title of the photo or video, and the body becomes the description. 3. Take a look at the class page (http://ukznav.ning.com), the comments on Dereks blog posts (http://www.weblearning.co.za/blog/index.php/2010/01/29/pln/) and the list of teachers of PGCE students on Twitter http://twitter.com/ weblearning/ukznav Start to weave yourself a network on the space you selected.
