KOAS has devoted its best effort to create the

excellent office space for customers, and this aim

is the reason for the existence of KOAS itself. For

KOAS, office furniture does not mean just simple

office appliances, but an important tool to elevate

the competency of company in this work smart

office furniture made with the R&D philosophy of

3 Virtue of Design

What are the true value and role applied in

the design of V6? We were concerned about

what would be the design that customers like

and good for the customers, and the design

satisfying both of these. KOAS tried to define

the function and identity of V6 from the concerns

on the true value and role of the design. It fulfills

the minimalism which is the design trend of 21st

century that simple and sensuous design of V6

achieving the product’s functional requirements

as much as possible and daringly eliminating the

elements with less usability and decorative parts.

4 Variety of Functions

KOAS systematically studies all of the work

patterns of the users in office space, and tries

to reflect the result of the study to the product

in detail for more efficient work. Even minor

concerns that customers feel during the use of

01 Basic Structure

23mm thickness particle board finished with HPM(High Pressure Melamine) top and HPM backer is used for work surface, and is reinforced with two steel pipes to prevent bending. Also, pipe drawing legs are connected with the reinforced pipe by the aluminum die-casting connector, which meets USA BIFMA standard.

02 Minimal Design & White Base Color

With the combination of neat lines and rectangular surfaces, it pursues the minimalism representing 21st century. Legs processed as oblique lines, and simple, sensuous bottom part is completed with plast ic mold cover for joints of side supplement frames, and white color that gives warm and orderly feeling is applied to the steel legs and frames.

03 Horizontal and Vertical Wiring

Wiring net and control box which contains 4-outlet power strip, LAN and phone connecting socket can be installed below the desk, also 3 vertical wire holders are installed inner side of legs for convenient wire management without partition.

04 Sliding Wiring Cap

The wiring cap opens and shuts smoothly, and contains outlets, LAN, phone connecting socket as well as wire holder designed for mobile phone, tablet PC and etc. Especially, it is very convenient for laptop users with its neat and efficient wire management.

05 Side Modesty Patch

If the desk side is exposed depending on the layout, either fabric patch or steel patch could be chosen to cover it. The upper attaches with hooks and the bottom attaches with magnets, so it is easily installed without any tools. Also, the fabric patch is detachable and washable.

06 Levelers

The bottom part of the leg is finished with plastic injection molding leveler that can easily adjust the level of desk. (Control range 12mm)

07 Finished with the traditional Korean paper

Traditional Korean paper, Hanji, is optionally available for all the wooden part of V6. Patented adhesion technique of Hanji and wooden board as well as reinforcing technique of surface is derived from the accumulated skill and know-how of KOAS. Hanji is very advantageous material with its excellent eco-friendly features, durability, wet endurance and air-permeability, and this represents the splendid competency and competitiveness of KOAS.

09 Monitor Stand

If monitor is put on the monitor stand, PC work can be done while head is leaning on the headrest of the chair, so it is the suitable option for long time PC users. Also, it can keep keyboards below, so users can have more space for paperwork.

08 Pentray

The plastic pen tray can be installed under the desk. It is very convenient for keeping office supplies such as a business card, pen, eraser and clip without additional case goods.

11 Manager Desk

V6 provides special design of desk for team manager or executive that is also advantageous for smooth communication with team members. Through the combination of various cabinets and panels, you can decorate your office of any kind such as open office, private office and etc.

10 120˚ Desk

The 120˚ desk of V6 is a new concept created by KOAS. The combination of one 120˚ desk with pedestals and tower storage completes one workstat ion, and this unique idea is advantageous for economic use of space while remaining all the convenient storage units and comfortable moving line.

01 Various Storage Solutions

Since the mid-2000s, LCD monitors have rapidly replaced the CRT monitors, and therefore, straight rectangular desk has substituted L-shaped desk or broader work surface. Various V6 drawers provide appropriate solution to the small office or paperless office.

04 PC Holding Drawer

In addition to the typical type of drawer, we are providing more space for PC at rear side of the drawer so that you can have more space under the desk.

02 Auto-Return Knob

KOAS technology is integrated into the handles of high quality aluminum. Simple design of knob does not interrupt worker’s moving line, and naturally rotates back when you hold it. This is advantageous to keep it clean.

Also, it is adjusted by 3D direction (left & right, up & down, and front & back), so easy to control the level of doors.

There are two types of side storage, inside and outside storage, using for its various layout and effective utilization, and these compose L-shape workstation together with rectangular desk. In addition, you can select the height among 477mm㎜which is ergonomic height for communication by using of seating pad on it, 649mm㎜that provides subsidiary work space, plus 740mm which is same height with desk.

Side storage consists of various types of storage units, and can keep not only documents or books but a large number of office supplies as well.

04 PC Storage

You can keep your PC beside of the storage or on top of it. With this additional space, you can use more space under the desk, and easily control the computer by pulling the rotating part or easily reach it without much movement.

V6 tower storage has various modules like for 1 or 2 persons, L type or R type, width of 200mm㎜or 400mm and etc. depending on the layout and the storage requirement. The tower storage can be used as space divider also effective means for protecting privacy.

04 Colors for Interiors

The color and design of the panel itself acts as interior elements. One or two fabric colors are optionally applied to the partition, and well harmonized with the white color steel frame. There are various color options of the fabric to support diverse interior plan.

Since 1990s, the access floor has been applied to many office buildings, and became one of the generalized architectural elements; therefore, additional panel systems that had been used for wire management are no longer required as much as before. The height is unified as 1163mm which is the most appropriate height to communicate and concentrate, also removed complicated functions that people do not use a lot.

Depending on your interior plan, two kinds of material (acryl and fabric) can be optionally applied. Openness is the merit of transparent acrylic top screen, and various color choice is the strength of fabric top screen which is structured as honeycomb core.
