Bradley is a member of Jordim Conceigno Clubhouse in Brazil. He is 17 years old and had been a member for about six years. Bradley really loves Lego Robotics and creat-ing games. Bradley was in a Lego league, he was champion and received a trophy.Bradley’s chaperone says that “Bradley was so excited to come to the Teen Summit because he wanted to learn more about things and he also wanted to see MIT. ‘Unfortunately he was unable to attend because of troubles at the airport with his docu-ments. Johab is another member from the same clubhouse. He is sixteen and has been a member for one year. He also like Lego robotics and many different things like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and scratch. Johab wanted to see Harvard and wanted to be in a flash animation workshop. He was also unable to attend because of paperwork problems.

During July 27th – August 1st 2010, over 300 teens and their chaperones from 19 coun-tries gathered in Boston for a global Teen Summit, hosted by the Intel Computer Club-house Network. The youth leaders, ages 13 to 18 -- from the United States, and as far away as Russia, New Zealand, Jordan, Israel, South Africa, and Brazil -- used their technology skills, teamwork, and their imaginations to help create solutions for issues faced by their communities. Their common bond is they are all members of the Intel Computer Clubhouse Network, a creative out-of-school learning program, whose global headquarters is at the Museum of Science, Boston.

He also like Lego robotics and many different things like

Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and scratch.

The Teen Summit is a fantastic experience

for teens to learn more programs and make friends from around the world and

have fun.

Yineth is fourteen and is a member from a computer clubhouse in Panama. She has been a member for four years. She likes Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Yineth is participating in the Teen Summit and is excited to be here. She wanted to be here to see the Prudential building and to be in a video workshop. There were some members from her Computer Clubhouse who were unable to come. She imagines that missing out is a sad and stressful experience. The Teen Summit is a fantastic experience for teens to learn more programs and make friends from around the world and have fun. Teens who have attended the Teen Summit leave with information about different cultures around the world and future career opportunities. Many return to their clubhouses and share their experiences with other members who were unable to attend. Reasons why members are unable to attend the Teen Summit include passport and visa problems and paperwork issues. Teens who want to come to the Teen Summit hope that governments can help with visas, paperwork and passports so that teens can continue to attend and meet people from different cultures around the world. By knowing someone as a real person, and not only through the media young people can spread the message of peace and understanding by example, instead of fear and hate of people who are different to us.
