provide a 360° visual status signal ofa machine or process that requiresmonitoring. The tower lights areavailable in one (1) through five (5)lamp models and can be supplied insteady light or flashing light with orwithout buzzer capability.

The lights are extremely flexiblesince each lamp in an assembly canbe wired to perform individually,based on the users' indication needs.As an example, you can wire a threelamp unit (HYTWB) to have theGreen lens as a steady light, theAmber lens to be a flashing light, andthe Red lens to be a flashing lightwith buzzer. A typical application foran indicator light wired in this mannerwould be a gravity feed bin thatsupplies compound to a press. TheGreen light would be ON steadywhen the bin was full to half empty,from half empty to empty the Amberlight would flash, at empty the Redlight would flash and the buzzerwould sound.

Tenor indicating tower lights arecomplete assemblies that includebulbs, pole, 90° mounting bracketand all hardware necessary forinstallation. The lights are ideal forindicating operating status in a widerange of process, assembly andother automatic equipmentapplications.

All light models within the HYTproduct family are supplied with a257mm (approximately 10 inches)pole and an "L" shaped mountingbracket, including nut and bolthardware.

Since some installations haveother mounting requirements,several optional alternativemounting methods are availableon Page 88 of this catalog.

Tenor HYT tower lights are available in models from one (1) to five (5) lights.The lights are supplied as complete assemblies including; bulb, pole,mounting bracket and hardware.

Mounting and Pole Length Options

The HYT series lights are extremelyapplication flexible. Individual lightscan be wired to be steady ON,flashing or with an alarm buzzer witheither steady ON or flashing light.The model on the right is equippedwith a built-in buzzer alarm.

ORDERING INFORMATIONThe mounting options shown above provide installation flexibility which helps the user tailor an HYT indicating

light to fit their requirements. Since the standard length pole and "L" shaped bracket satisfy most requirements,the mounting options on this page must be ordered as a separate item on an order. The part number required forordering is listed on the following chart.

ST-012 Metal Mounting Base.This die cast metal base allowsall HYT family lights to be bottommounted. ST-012 replaces thestandard "L" bracket at the baseof the light.

HY-ST011 Plastic Mounting Base.This mounting base is used whenyou want to eliminate the heightprovided by the 10" pole. TheHY-ST011 base is equipped witha brass sleeve that fits into the lightcolumn base and the pole iseliminated.

HY-ST009 31.5 Inch Light Pole.This light pole allows the user toincrease the height of HYT familylights up to an additional 20 inches.The pole can be shortened orcut-off on the non-threaded endto provide optimum length.
