MFI-10 provides:• display of aiming information

(television image from a TVseeker of the air-launchedweapons, allowable zones ofrelease (launch) by rangeand azimuth, current targetrange, «launch is allowed»command»);

• control of indication modesand airborne systems;

• Input of information into theairborne data base onnavigation points (waypoint,aerodrome, radio beacon,locator beacon) and routes.

Installation of SN-25 Navigation System

SN-25 PROVIDES:• input and storage of data on waypoints, aerodromes, radio-beacons – up to 99 points of each type (in the standard version – up to 6

points);• generation and storage of the data on 8 routes(in the standard version - 1 route);• desired track flight with automatic and manual change of navigation points in flight;• Navigation capability under ICAO standard (VOR, ILS/DME);• Accuracy of aircraft position coordinates ±15 meters (in the standard version 700 meters).

Installation of SN-25 Navigation System

VIM-95 equipment is designed for operation with radio beacons of short-rangenavigation system - VOR and radio beacons of aircraft instrument landing systems- ILS, SP-50.The equipment outputs azimuth data to radio beacon VOR and data on landinglocalizer and glideslope deviation via ILS and SP-50 systems in digital and analogform. The equipment generates marker beacon passing signals as well.

VIM-95 consists of heading, glideslope and marker receivers.

Appearance of the device

VND-94 is designed for measurement of slant range distance between the aerialvehicle and ground-based radio beacons DМЕ/Р, DМЕ/N (DМЕ/W) and radiobeacons of TACAN system. It can operate in scanning mode with 5 beacons.Small-size radio range-finder VND - 94 consists of interrogator, ISD-3 indicator andАМ-001 antenna.

Installation of PS-25 Targeting System

PS-25 ensures employment of organic air-launched weapons and newly installed ones:• R-73 «air-to-air» guided missiles;• управляемых ракет Х-29Т «air-to-surface» guided missiles;• КАB-500Кr guided air bombs;• S-13 unguided air missiles;• PS-25 also provides employment of «navigation bombing» mode.

Use of Х-29Т guided missiles КАB-500Кr guided bombs

Introduction of «navigation bombing» mode provides:• carrying out day-and-night bombing of freefalling air bombs in

all weather conditions, without ground surface visibility;• increase of maximum bombing altitude up to 5000 m (not

entering in air defence engagement zone);• Improving accuracy of freefalling bomb-dropping (RMS error

±30 m).

Flight data display mode

Control and flight data recording system BUR-4-1-10 is designed for control, recording and storage, in case of emergency, ofinformation on status of power units and airborne systems.Control and flight data recording system provides the following:• Flight data reading and transfer to the ground data processing system;• carrying out of technological and calibration works on site;• rapid analysis of flight information;• voice information reproduction;• in-depth control testing of BUR-4-1-10 system as a part of the aircraft;• data processing results documentating.

«Dvina-М» ground software system is used for data reading and processing, rapid analysis of in-flight recorded parameters and theirvisualization.

Appearance of the device

BUR-4-1-10 system includes:• data collection unit BSI-4-10;• solid state recording unit BR-4Т-10;• control unit BU-10;• control panel PU-4-10.

Installation of SR-25 Radio Communications System

SR-25 radio communications system

The on-board communications complex is designed to provide anti-jam unsecure and secure telephone and tele-code radiocommunications while interacting with other aerial vehicles and ground-based control posts.

THE COMPLEX PROVIDES:• Two-way simplex unsecure and secure radio communication of a crew through two independent communications channels

within VW-UHF band and through one channel within HF-band with ground-based control posts and other aerial vehicles,equipped with devices providing full-duplex operation;

• automatic voice information relay within MW-UHF band in FOF and PROFR modes;• emergency voice announcement of the crew;• two-way internal telephone communications between the crewmembers in flight and with ground maintenance staff during

preflight preparation;• data exchange with airborne avionics equipment through multiplex data-exchange channel (GOST 52070-2003);• data exchange with airborne avionics equipment though sequenced exchange channel in accordance with GOST18977-79;• listening signals of automatic radio compass, radio navigation equipment, special signal sensors, emergency receiver of either of

the two radio stations within MW-UHF band;• recording telephone conversations of the crewmembers via internal and external communications links by using voice recorder;• automated input of communication plan (preflight data) from external medium;• control of radio stations in automatic mode (with PU-29 as a part of airborne avionics equipment).

«Prima-DMV» radio station

«Prima-DMV» radio stationMW1-MW2-UHF band radio station («Prima-DMV») is designed to provide short-range telephone radio communication within the following frequency bands • (30–87,975) MHz – 25 kHz frequency spacing;• (100–149,975) MHz – 25 kHz frequency spacing;• (156–173,975) MHz – 25 kHz frequency spacing;• (220–399,975) MHz – 25 kHz frequency spacing;• (118,0–136,975)MHz– 8,33 kHz frequency spacing.

Installation of EMI Shielding Equipment (EMI SE “Satellite”)(«Veresk»)

Phase of surveillance

False target acquisition and tracking

During operation of jammed radio electronic means insurveillance mode, the equipment causes maskinginterference in the channels of range, speed and angularcoordinates. Selection of a true mark among false ones ishampered.

In tracking mode the equipment provides generation ofcontrollable disturbances in the channels of angularcoordinate measuring. Antenna of radio electronicmeans switches to tracking of a false target, located inother direction relatively the protected aerial vehicle.Angular position of a false target changes by desired law,simulating maneuvering of the protected aerial vehicle.

EMI ShE «SATELLITE»

The option of positioning the system in 2 suspended containers is offered for Su-25 aircraft.
