Raising your safety standardsThe newly enforced EN378 lays down maximum exposure limits for leakage.Emphasis is being given to protect permanently manned rooms. Non-compliance implies legal and financial liability for businesses. Toshiba pioneersagain by developing leak detection accessories integrated within the controlsystem, hence respecting both staff and businesses. This option consists of roomsensors – positioned in permanently manned rooms – connected to a simplePCB to be placed on the inverter outdoor unit.

Intelligent sensors combined with the intelligent inverter control eliminatescapacity differences between indoor units.

With this technology an indoor unit will always operate at optimum capacitywhatever its position on the piping circuit, thus simplifying design. This also allowsusing a line branching or even a header branching after a header branching.
