CVJeremy Godenir

Since 2013 MOEA creates strong and innovative architectural,

interior and scenographic concepts. Exploration, visualization and an

eye for details are key elements throughout the design process up to

the implementation.

Founder Jeremy Godenir graduated from Sint-Lucas college in Gent,

Belgium.

He gained international experience at OMA and AMO in Rotterdam,

Netherlands. In addition, he participated in various projects such

as the restructuration of the Hermitage Museum of St. Petersburg,

Russia, the Seoul National University Museum of Art, South Korea,

as well as contributing to the graphics of the book Content (2004,

Tashen) and the correspondent exhibition at the Neue Nationalgalerie

in Berlin, Germany (e.g. patent drawings).

Working at the ATELIER JAN DE COCK, he introduced the use of

the computer, which made it possible to archive and subsequently

reproduce the transient sculptures. For Denkmal 53, Tate Modern,

Bankside 53, London SE1 9TG (UK), he worked on the technical

drawings to create abstract compositions, which then were made

into Repromotion carpets.

During his time at SUM Jeremy took an active part in several

competitions and realizations of the company. Among them the

competition for the Bio-Accelerator for the Flemish Institute for

Biotechnology at the Technology Park in Zwijnaarde, Belgium.

Later on he made partner and was in charge of various reconversions

of existing buildings. The project Fenixhof included the reconversion

of the former Securex offices on the Vogelmarkt in Gent into nine

stylish apartments with a commercial seat for the COS.

Furthermore, the project CG Kouter was another reconversion.

This time the former ING bank offices on the Kouter became

luxury apartments, a commercial seat and offices for the ING

bank. Moreover Jeremy oversaw numerous temporary, short-time

assignments like the scenography for the GEO-graphics exhibition

at BOZAR in collaboration with David Adjaye and the Reality-SUM-

stand, a contemporary interpretation of the American Bar by Adolf

Loos in Vienna, Austria.
