MY RESUME 2016

EXPERIENCE:

– 11/2009 up till now

Chemist in Amreya petroleum refining company (APRC).

I am working in GC & HPLC laboratory.

- Responsible for all GC tests and results reporting for all liquid and gases

samples which come from different units in APRC such as aromatics unit,

linear alkyl benzene unit, PACOL unit, paraffin unit, PSA unit…

- Responsible for all calibration work in GC and HPLC.

- Prepare all blends mixtures that are needed for GC tests and for GC

calibration in the laboratory.

- Give GC and HPLC training for other chemists and technicians.

Due to my software developing back ground,

- I made programmes that help making calculations easy and fast.

- I can deal and understand easily any lab instrument software.

- I’m responsible for GC trouble shooting.

I’m working with the following instruments models:

Five gas chromatography instruments of Varian cp-3800 GC model –

controlled by Star work station version 6.20 or Galaxy software.

Dani master GC – controlled by Clarity software version 5.0.1.461

Varian 450-GC – controlled by Galaxy software version 1.9.302.952.

Agilent 7890A GC – controlled by Agilent chemstation.

Agilent 7890B GC – controlled by Agilent chemstation.

HP 5790A series GC with auto chro data module.

*The detectors used in the above GC models are TCD, FID and OFID.

Agilent HPLC 1100 series with AS, QP, CO, UVD and RID

- controlled by Agilent chemstation.

MY RESUME 2016

I worked in Crude Evaluation Lab with AutoMaxx 9100 fully

automatic distillation system apparatus complies with

ASTM D2892 or ASTM D5236

-The crude oil reach a temperature of 350 ºC with reflux ratio 5:1

During heating up, we get the following cuts:

Gases to overhead temperature of 15 ºC.

Distillation cuts from 15-160 ºC at 760mm Hg.

Distillation cuts from 160-260 ºC at 100 mm Hg.

Distillation cuts from 260-350 ºC at 10 mm Hg.

Fractions were taken by selected temperature or volume percent.

- Distribute cuts fractions to other labs for testing and collect results

to do final crude oil evaluation report.

- Give Training to other chemists and technicians in crude evaluation lab.

In 1-2014 I have a training in Gases Lab for 4 weeks

- I was trained to do the following tests

Weathering volatility.

Light hydrocarbons Specific gravity using pressure hydrometer.

Vapor pressure of LPG.

Hydrogen sulfide % wt.

Mercaptan sulfur content.

Analysis of soda solution.

Distillation at reduced pressure.

Relative density of gas by schilling effusion.

Oxygen in gas samples by dragger.

Carbon mono oxide by dragger.

Carbon di oxide by dragger.

Sulfur dioxide by dragger.

Water vapors by dragger.

Hydrochloric acid by dragger.

MY CHROMATOGRAPHY KNOWLEDGE

My grade in instrumental analysis

was very good. That is because I like

the course specially chromatography

section.

My computer back ground pushed

me to work in chromatography lab

when I was starting my job in APRC.

With passion during the last 6 years

of working for APRC in

chromatography lab, I was learning

how to test, maintain and how to

solve most daily GC and HPLC

problems from my boss who has

more than 30 years of experience

and I’m still learning up till now from

him.

Working in a lab like APRC

chromatography lab - have 10

instruments working daily- were

putting me under pressure to learn

fast from day one specially when

only one chemist run the lab alone

Friday and Saturday.

I read a lot about chromatography.

That help me to build strong

knowledge about chromatography.

I going to be the best in my carrier.

MY RESUME 2016

As instructor in the following :

Program Name:

- Crude oil types and how to evaluate it.

Was hold in Amreya petroleum Refining company training

center in Elmnshya –Alexandria, during the period from

8/3/2016 to 31/3/2016.

I helped in putting the outline and contents of the part

about crude oil evaluation and separation of its products.

My Lecture subject:

Tests and it’s significances of crude oil and its products

using chromatography.

- I gave 4 lectures each one is two hours.

Trainers’ opinion about my lecture:

My lecture evaluation was excellent as the trainers were

totally satisfied and got the aim of the lecture in the easiest

possible way.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
