- SeaIntel Global Liner Performance Report:

Following the historical pattern as seen in the

previous years, the number of vessel arrivals

(all carriers) has noticeably decreased due to

lower capacity deployed in the main East/West

trades around Chinese New Year, when carriers

usually announce a large number of blank

sailings to and from Asia.

- Count On MOL KPI Performance Report:

MOL’s performance in 1Q 2016 was mainly

affected by unfavorable weather condition, berth

congestion and seasonal holidays. During the

period, port closures and berth congestions

caused by adverse weather conditions such as

dense fog in Ningbo, Qingdao, Shanghai,

Yantian, Xiamen and Hong Kong, rough sea

conditions in Laem Chabang, Bangkok and

Japan (Osaka), and the impact of Christmas,

New Year and Chinese New Year holidays

disrupted services and adversely affected on-

time schedule performance.
