In-house Mold Proof Common Notice

1. 1. Follow 6S standard, messy, rubbish and dusty is good living environment

for mold.

2. Water in of house-roof or window, can cause the water stay at working area.

Workshop can’t allow any water stay.

3. Water proof painting 1.5M from bottom of wall, prevent mold to

MTL/finished shoes.

4. Keep all MTL/semi-finished goods/finished goods 50CM away from wall and

150cm away from window.

5. Upgrade air venting system, good air venting can lower down the moisture.

6. First in first out (FIFO) must be implemented for all MTL. 7. Clean table with bleaching powder every day, clean floor with formalin every

month.

Request leather vendors to do well anti-mold keep moisture of leather/suede within 8%.

Inspection Area Clean the inspection table with bleaching powder every day. Clean the inspection table with formalin every month.

Prod workshop Don’t use to much water to clean uppers, place a piece

of foam on the bowl. The position of water can’t over foam, the length of the brush should be proper.

vents is necessary around 1.5cm for good air venting.

time/temp must follow the requirement of brand. After pass

though oven, shoes must be dry.

Prod workshop Temp of cooling machine can’t be too low, and make sure the effort

of cooling process. Water can’t appear on the shoes which passed though cooling.

Tissue paper can’t been kept in the repaired shoes which need to be passed though cooling to prevent moldy.

Prod workshop Latex can’t be dilute by water, if necessary must use pure

water. Container within latex must with cover, to prevent pollution. Change the brushes in time, if getting old must replace with

new.

Package Shoes must be packed after cooling. Mold will appear easily cause

shoes were packed with high temp. Operators must dress clean, change wear every day, no glove while packing. Wash hands before packing.

Carton/inbox/tissue paper are easy to get wet, they must be placed at dry/ air venting environment. It’s best to set up dehumidifier at W/H, and keep them from directly been placed onto floor, plastic plate is good. Keep 150cm away from the wall.

be used. 2. Close inbox after finished shoes placed, to ensure the

effect of Micro-Pak. 3. The desiccant which no used out should be placed into

foil bags.
