Congratulations to Harry Bayliss who will be representing Parkes East and Lachlan at the Western PSSA Cricket Trials later this term.
As part of the Henry Parkes Learning Community Miss Tracey Dawson (Librarian at Parkes High School) will be delivering a Cyber Safety Workshop to all Stage 3 students on Thursday afternoon.
This is another example of how teachers across the public schools in Parkes are supporting each other for the benefit of our students.
P&C News At last Wednesday’s meeting the P&C agreed to fund the replacement of the blinds in the Stage 1 and Stage 3 buildings. This will complete the replacement of the very tired, old blinds in all classrooms.
On Saturday, 9 November the P&C will be holding its annual Christmas Dinner. All parents, friends of the school and staff are invited. Please contact Mr Ostler if you are able to attend.
Mrs Massey returns to school this Wednesday
following Long Service Leave. During her time
away from school Mrs Massey played hockey for
NSW in the Australian Masters Championships and
has again been selected to represent Australia! We
are all very proud of her fine achievement.
School Evaluations
It is that time of year again where we ask parents/students/
staff to evaluate aspects of our school. This year we will be
evaluating Mathematics and Homework as well as School
Satisfaction (required annually).
It would be appreciated if these could be returned to
school by Friday, 1 November.
