SOME HINTS ON THE ISLANDS

MOSKENES

Moskenes is located in the untamed, western part of the Lofoten Islands and is well-known fo r i t s , we l l -p rese r ved a rch i t ec tu ra l environment. Glaciers have sculpted the island landscape, which is among the wildest and most interesting that Norway can offer. You will sail on the famous Moskstrømmen, one of the world's strongest tidal currents and see the beautiful fishermen’s cabins (Rorbu).

This small village (originally a farm), surrounded by an amazing fjord, is the typical fishing spot with cosy fishermen's cabins (Rorbu), the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum and stockfish racks.

NUSFJORD

The fishing village of Nusfjord is famous and unique for its building landscape, which evolved at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.  The building complex has survived as a homogenous unit, with the old bakery and the sawmill, unscathed by elements of modern architecture.

HENNINGSVÆRWith the mountain at its back and otherwise surrounded by the sea, Henningsvær has been was a one of the most prominent fishing villages in Lofoten, since the beginning of the 17th century. The islands of Henningsvær were not connected to the rest of Lofoten by bridges until 1981, a fact that probably helped save the community from the contemporary style of architecture

TROLLFJORDThe Trollfjord (Trollfjorden) is a 2  km long sidearm of the Raftsund between the Norwegian archipelagos of Lofoten and Vesterålen, surrounded by pristine water and steep-sided mountains.After a long walk, if you wish, you will reach the glacier overlooking the whole fjord.

TERMS AND CONDITIONSNORWAY FLOTILLA, LOFOTENLofoten, Norway - 8 days/ 7 nights (June 21st - 28th, 2014)Rate per person/week: € 790

Embarkation:Bodø, from 6:30 pm on June 21st, 2014 Disembarkation:Bodø, by 9:00 am on June 28th, 2014

All boats are supplied with a skipper and have 3/4 cabins with 1/2/3 heads

INCLUSIONSThe rate includes:• Accommodation in double cabin with sharing head• Set of bedlinen • Skipper’s assistance• Rubber dinghy with outboard engine• Trip documents

EXCLUSIONSThe rate does not include:• cashbox on board (aprox 15-20 euro per person/day) for food and beverages, fuel, port fees, yacht final cleaning. Skipper is excluded from cashbox.• Transfer from/to the embarkation point.• Flights/ferries to reach the embarkation point.• Any excursion or tour ashore• Part of refundable deposit of 200 euro which has to be paid to the skipper on embarkation as a guarantee of the insurance excess and be returned on disembarking if no damage occurred to the yacht.Where available, the above mentioned deposit will be replaced by a not refundable amount of 30,00 euro per person per cruise.- Insurance policies (see below)

Insurance policies (compulsory)Registration fee (compulsory): € 20,00 per person, including Travel Insurance “Navale Sos” by Navale Assicurazioni/"IMA ITALIA ASSISTANCE Spa" covering health insurance – emergency medical and legal assistance - an interpreter - lost, stolen or damaged baggage, personal effects or travel documents - return trip for traveller and relatives – medical expenses – etc. It moreover offers the coverage for fire/theft of the baggage up to a maximum of 750 euro.

T r i p c a n c e l l a t i o n p o l i c y “Skipper&Charter” (compulsory): 2.6% of the total cost of the trip This is a new policy , suitable for sailing vacations, providing coverage for: - Trip cancellation and interruption - Indemnity for any delay in the delivery of the

boat due to breakdown or bad weather conditions

- Civil responsibility of the passenger- Reimbursement of the trip quota that has not been used, in case of trip interruption The sailing itinerary is not binding and can be modified en route due to technical reasons or weather conditions.
