Money­making hobbies are everywhere, and they’re turning ordinary people into profitablebusiness owners. In fact, some people invest a good bit of money into their hobbies becausethey’re entertaining, relaxing or gives them a sense of accomplishment.

And then there are people who happen to have a passion for really expensive hobbies – guncollecting, expensive art collections and the like, so they need to limit their spending.

But, what if you could turn even expensive passions into a money­making hobbies? It can be done!

Imagine doing what you absolutely love – and getting paid by otherpeople to do it!

Imagine, instead of waking up to be at the office by 8 or 9AM and only doing your hobbyafter hours, you get to do a “two­second commute” to your den or family room, and do whatyou love – and still make a living.

People have been doing this for decades! My grandmother was ahead of her time. Herhobby and passion was crafting tailor­made furniture slip covers and matching draperies.

She earned a full­time income doing what she loved and without ever leaving her home. And

this was before electric typewriters were even invented, let alone home computers or theInternet.

Word of mouth and referrals afforded her to do what she loved every day and make enoughmoney to buy what she wanted – like the new bedroom suite that my Pop­Pop said theycouldn’t afford.

She just waited until he went off to work, ordered the furniture and had it delivered and setup before he got home.

My family is full of entrepreneurs who have hobbies that make money, and they’ve taken theirpassions into full time self­employment. We have a landscaper, a chef, photographers, avintage store owner, a painter, an all­around home repair specialist, independent distributors,and so on.

I was born into an entrepreneurial family, starting with my grandmother!

And I’m married to an entrepreneur, too, who turned his passion for crafting into one part­time income, and his interest in car restoration into a second part­time income.

Over the years, I’ve met a couple of people who have a passion for pianos. They not onlyplay, they have a knack for tuning and cleaning them. And one has a passion for teachingstudents to play piano.

These people no longer have to report in to work and punch a timeclock. They live theirpassions!

Think about what you love to do. Is it something you could do on a daily basis? Somethingyou can share with others or teach others to do?

Can you provide a service with your hobby and turn a profit on consulting fees?

Is your hobby something that can be considered “evergreen,” long­lasting with a high profitmargin?

Have other people asked you to do things for them that you’re great at doing and they’re not?

If so, then you might have what it takes to create massive income with your hobby and saygoodbye to Corporate America. Or at the very least, have something solid to fall back on ifyou ever find yourself out of work.
