Money Matters #1: What you are called into matters more to God
than what you are called out of • Out of punishment and into forgiveness• Out of wounding and into healing• Out of sin and into righteousness• Out of death and into life• Out of cursing and into blessing• Out of rejection and into acceptance• Out of hopelessness and into joy• Out of poverty and into abundance
Money Matters # 2: God’s blessing is commanded.
Psalm 133:1-3 (ESV) 1 Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! 2 It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron,
running down on the collar of his robes! 3 It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life
forevermore.
Matthew 6:33 (NIV)33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well.
Money Matters # 3: First learn to be a receiver before you can be giver.
Money Matters # 4: God gives you the ability to create wealth!
Deut 8 v 7 – 18. ‘7 For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills; 8 a land with
wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; 9 a land where bread will not be
scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.
• 10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you. 11 Be careful that you do not forget the LORD
your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day. 12
Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down, 13 and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, 14 then your heart will become proud and you will forget
the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 15 He led you through the vast and dreadful desert, that thirsty and waterless
land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock. 16 He gave you manna to eat in the desert, something your fathers
had never known, to humble and to test you so that in the end it might go well with you. 17 You may say to yourself, "My power and the strength of my hands
have produced this wealth for me." 18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the
ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is
today.

Money Matters # 5: Money is not evil, it is neutral.
1 Timothy 6:10 (NIV) 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.
Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
Men can make counterfeit money but money can also make counterfeit men
Money Matters # 6: There is NO virtue in poverty.
Money Matters # 7: Prosperity is a lifestyle.
3 John 1 v 1-8 ‘1The elder, to my dear friend Gaius, whom I love in the truth. 2Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy
good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
Proverbs 28:20 (MSG) 20 Committed and persistent work pays off; get-rich-
quick schemes are ripoffs.
Proverbs 13:11 (NLT) 11 Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly
disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time.
Money Matters # 8 We should not be embarrassed talking about money.
"Jesus doesn't want to take your money, He just
doesn't want your money to take you"
