Remember Your Primary ObjectiveRemember Your Primary Objective

• Mitigate fire suppression-caused damage to as close to pre-fire conditions as is reasonably possible

• Special note for road repairs:

Assess how the road was drained before the fire & work towards establishing similar drainage; consider if basic drainage improvements can be made. DO NOT mitigate pre-fire road drainage problems

MAINTAIN TASK / INVENTORY LISTMAINTAIN TASK / INVENTORY LIST

Page 5: MONITORING AND TRACKING PROGRESS. Remember Your Primary Objective Mitigate fire suppression-caused damage to as close to pre-fire conditions as is reasonably

STAY ORGANIZEDSTAY ORGANIZED

• Develop a drop file• Keep FLSR Plan handy & make plenty of

extra copies• Keep a current IAP handy• Establish a check out / in table –

accountability is critical for safety– Staff assignments w/ radio identifier, actual

FLSR work / equipment assigned, cell phone # (do not rely on T-card info!)

• Work closely with Hired Equipment Tech Spec

• Work with FSC on damage claims

TRACK YOUR PROGRESSTRACK YOUR PROGRESS

• Stay flexible– Surprises, new discoveries do occur with

FLSR– Be prepared to adapt
