The EFFECT series features the Montana METALLIC effect, Montana GLITTER effect, MARBLE effect, CRACKLE effect and GRANIT effect sprays. From the futuristic optically illusive GLITTER spray, with it‘s enchanting galactic sparkle, to the historically distressed look of the CRACKLE spray, the Montana EFFECT series is ideal for indoor or outdoor creative work and is to use in conjunction with the Montana GOLD and Montana ACRYLIC marker product ranges. Every surface can be transformed into a whole new visual landscape. With further EFFECT products being developed, this series is destined to please.

The Montana METALLIC Effect Sprays bring state of the art paint technology to traditional metallic effect colors. Loaded with a Montana Standard cap, these cans provide excellent delivery and reliability under medium pressure output. Not only are the Montana METALLIC Effect colors ideal for application on functional objects such as bikes and furniture, they can also add a metallic flare to any creative or artistic project on paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and other paintable materials. Made from an Acrylic-Nitro Combination base, the paint surface dries to a durable semi-gloss finish which is both hard wearing when cured (24+ hours) as well as flexible. Offering great lightfastness, the Montana METALLIC Effect line can also be combined with the Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK and Montana ACRYLIC marker lines. For best results shake can vigorously for approximately 3 minutes before use and apply at a distance of 15cm - 20cm to a pre-primed substrate. Re-shake between intervals to assure settled pigment is re-mixed. To enhance color result even further, pre-prime substrate with a similar Montana GOLD color as base. Apply in thin multiple layers, varying application strokes from vertical to horizontal on each run. Optimum use temperature is between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. Drying time is normally around 10 mins for dust dry, 20 minutes for touch dry and 24 hours for total curing. Please note drying times vary subject to room temperature and moisture levels. To protect your artwork to its fullest, apply Montana spray VARNISH in Gloss, Semi-Gloss or Matt once METALLIC Effect colors have dried and cured. We do not recommend objects painted with METALLIC Effect colors be exposed to high temperatures over 80 degrees Celsius.

High-covering spray paint for a deceivingly realistic marble effect. Can be used on many different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and other paintable materials. The MARBLE effect is formed by very fine colored paint strands on the surface area of the object in question. The area which is to be sprayed is not entirely covered and will stay partially visible. Can be top-coated with many common lacquer types once thoroughly dry. MARBLE Effect can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and customary acrylic paints. The MARBLE Effect can comes standard with a calligraphy that can be adjusted to create spray output lines in vertical, horizontal or variations there of.

Crackle lacquer for the special crackle-look (e.g. for a vintage or used-look). Prior coating of your ob-ject is necessary with Montana GOLD, Montana WHITE, Montana VARNISH or Montana PRIMER. After extensively applying CRACKLE Effect to your primed area, the distressing (cracking) process will begin to occur. Must be applied to completely dry base coat. The CRACKLE spray is high-covering and can be top-coated when completely dry and cured. Can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and customary acrylic paints. Glossy translucent paint with silver colored glitter particles for a metallic effect giving objects and artworks of all kinds a refined finish. Applicable on many different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and other paintable materials. After being applied, a thin shiny lacquer coat will show with a fine distribution of glitter particles. Further coats will lead to a higher density of particles and intensify of the effect. We recommend finishing your project with the Montana VARNISH Gloss to enhance the metallic effect. Please consider that the achieved final result will significantly be influenced by the color and gloss level of the under-coat. The glitter particles are carried in a clear base that can easily be covered with many common lacquer types. Can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and conventional acrylic paints.

Water-based special effect spray paint with fine plastic particles for a deceivingly realistic granite effect. Applicable on many different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, polystyrene and other paintable acrylic materials. The Montana GRANIT Effect is very high covering. For best results it is advisable to prime your surface when using light colored GRANIT Effect shades, particularly when painting on dark surfaces. We recommend using the Montana PRIMER or the Montana TEXTURE spray. The latter will enhance the GRANIT look even more. Can be top-coated once thoroughly dry. Can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and standard acrylic paints. The GRANIT Effect spray also works well as a structure spray. The Montana NIGHTGLOW not only now has a new improved formula, it is also complimented by a second color in the range called luminescent-orange. The new formula exhibits higher light emission for longer duration, making the Montana NIGHTGLOW’s high-grade luminescence-pigments even more powerful. The glow effect is achieved by the storing of light in the paints pigments (absorbed as energy), which is then emitted outward as light in the absence of light. Secured in an acrylic paint base, the Montana NIGHTGLOW will produce best results in a completely dark envi-ronment (without any light sources) and once the paint has had ample time to charge by absorbing light. This time varies depending on strength and source of the light. Use a strong source of light to load the effect paint temporarily. TECH SPRAYS CLEAN, PRIME & SEAL PROFESSIONALLY

The Montana TECH series offers different sprays as a perfect addition to Montana color and effect sprays. Besides three Varnishes there are now four special Primers for professional pre-treatment of different surfaces. ACETONE spray serves as a thinner or cleaner. Montana REMOVER can be used to remove paint residues from concrete and other surfaces. A further new innovation is the Montana TEXTURE coat to generate sculptured impasto surfaces. Also new to the assortment is the Montana FIXATIVE Spray. Endless possibilities of new techniques and effects can be achieved using the TECH sprays and Montana GOLD together!

T3000 Fixative

FIXATIVE SPRAY 400MLALCOHOL-BASED FAST DRYING FIXATIVE

The Montana FIXATIVE spray is an alcohol based non-removable fixative with a non-yellowing transparent matt finish. Loaded with a Montana Standard cap, the FIXATIVE spray is delivered through a low pressure system enabling users to accurately fix artworks made with traditional materials such as pencil, ink, gouache, water color, crayon, graphite, charcoal and pastel. However can also be applied to craft items such as straw, dried flowers, dry grasses or to fix the surfaces of items of a brittle nature. The Montana FIXATIVE spray is able to be worked over after 50 minutes when using Montana GOLD or Montana VARNISH sprays. For best results shake can 2 to 3 minutes before use and apply at a distance of 40cm to substrate which must be completely dry and cured. We recommend surfaces are free of unwanted dust, dirt or foreign materials before application. Apply minimum 2 thin layers, varying application strokes from vertical to horizontal on each run. Leave a minimum of 5 minutes between coats before re-coating. For surfaces with larger grain particles (e.g. Charcoal), more applications may be necessary to completely fix surface. Each re-coat will increase the gloss level of surface applied to. Drying time is normally around 10 mins for dust dry, 30 minutes for touch dry and 24 hours for total curing. We do not recommend objects painted with Montana FIXATIVE spray be exposed to high temperatures over 80 degrees Celsius.

Grey texture spray to generate sculptured impasto surfaces. Suitable for creative works of all kinds, as well as filling material to patch up small irregularities such as cracks, holes or as a foundation. Applicable on many different surfaces such as wood, glass, stone, ceramics, porcelain, acrylic and other non-elastic surfaces. By spraying your object with a thick layer of the TEXTURE spray, the foundation will be coated with a high-grade, well adhering sub-stance that can be molded while wet to achieve the desired structure. The structure spray can be wet sanded after a very short drying time. After thoroughly dry and cured, TEXTURE spray can be top-coated with many common lacquer types. The TEXTURE spray has good adherence and is highly water resistant. TEXTURE spray offers a high layering and thick filling capacity due to excellent paint stability. TEXTURE spray offers increased anticorrosive pro-tection to the surfaces it is applied to.

Montana PRIMER sprays enable excellent adhesion and further coating of synthetic, nitro-combi or acrylic-based spray paints. Montana offers different primers for application on different surfaces that need to be pre-treated such as plastic, metal and styrofoam. The Universal Primer also works on leather, cardboards, wood and many other materials. After the Primers have been applied you can work with Montana spray paints on the pre-treated area. Use Primers for efficient and more permanent results. Easy to apply, sand and re-coat. Please ensure that foam surface is completely sealed and all air pockets closed. This can be achieved by applying multiple thin even coats. Open air pockets may lead to paint solvents agitating the foam. For indoor and outdoor applications. Availa-ble as 400ml.

Montana Plastic Primer is the perfect pre-treatment for plastic surfaces. After priming and drying, plastic surfaces can be painted with Montana sprays that have a synthetic, acrylic, or nitro-combination base. Available as 400ml. Can be used with the following types of plastic:

polypropylene rubber, Modified (EPDM), acrylic Butadiene Styrene Plastics (ABS), Glass-Fibre Reinforced Plastics (GfK), Hard Polyvinyl Chloride (Hard-Pvc), Polyurethane (PUR), Polystyrene (PS), Polyamide (PA)

The Montana Polystyrene Primer provides an additional (protective) layer on Polystyrene, allowing later application of varnish and acid free paint to be possible. The primer seals the styrofoam and protects against reactions from paint lacquer. Always test before using on a non-visible area of the object. Available as 400ml.

Montana ADHESIVE spray is a acid-free spray glue consisting of a synthetic base with solvents for permanent adhe-sion. Suitable for most materials like foam, jute, felt, textiles, insulating material, expanded polystyrene, plastics, foils, paper, cardboard, wood and to adhere inlays. Not suitable for use with artificial leather or other materials with plasti-cizing agents or softeners (e.g. plasticized PVC). Always test before use. Can be applied to one or both surfaces to be adhered. Final adhesion strength is reached after 24 hours. Can be applied in a temperature range of -10°C (14°F) to 50°C (122°F) subject to materials used and their weights. Does not bleed through when used on textiles. Suitable for craft & paperwork. Clean and efficient when applied over small or large areas. Available as 400ml and 150ml.

The CHALKSPRAY is a chalk-based pigment spray that is ideal for outdoor temporary marking as well as for indoor studio artwork. Available in 10 powerful color shades that are deep matte and high covering. Montana CHALKSPRAY can be applied on various surfaces such as sidewalks, walls, cardboard or canvas. Depending on weather conditions and climate outdoor marking lasts between several days to several weeks. It fades quickly during extended periods of rain or in high traffic areas. On non-porous surfaces like glass or metal the pigments can be removed easily. Remo-val from porous surfaces may take longer. Montana CHALKSPRAY impresses by its feel and look - the typical rough chalk effect.

The low pressure system allows perfect handling. The level‘s of control that are able to be achieved with this can have never existed before. The Montana LEVEL caps were precisely developed to the new low pressure system allowing the most even and clean lines with the highest efficiency and accuracy. Spray widths from 0,4cm up to 25cm can be achieved depending on users skill and experience. For perfect results we recommend the cap system in combination with the Montana GOLD.

HIGHEST STANDARDS FOR THE BEST QUALITY

The lacquer of the Montana GOLD consists of solvent-based nitro-acrylic mixture. Only the finest ingredients and best pigments have been used for the development and production of the Montana GOLD, assuring the highest standard of quality. It can be combined with other acrylic lacquers as well as with the lacquer of the majority of other spray cans brands. Montana GOLD can also be applied with traditional brushes (or airbrush). Spray Montana GOLD lacquer into a small cup and apply the paint with traditional brushes when working on details or on smaller areas. Brushes or other tools can be cleaned easily with Montana ACETONE spray.

The Montana Level caps were precisely developed for the low pressure system allowing the most even and clean lines with the highest efficiency and accuracy. Spray widths from 0.4cm up to 25cm can be achieved depending on the users skill and experience. Now with the new refined Level 1 Cap - cleaner and thinner than before! Level 1 to Level 6 are easily recognizable by cap color and shape - from thin to fat - light to dark!

USE FOR MIXED MEDIA TECHNIQUES

Montana GOLD spray paint is compatible for mixed media use with the Montana ACRYLIC paint. Colors carrying the same name will color match to the Montana ACRYLIC colors once sealed with the Montana VARNISH Gloss. When combined with Montana GOLD we recommend to apply ACRYLIC paint with a brush or airbrush for best results. Due to a different base between ACRYLIC paint and GOLD spray paint, for best color matching results apply a coat of Montana VARNISH Gloss spray or ACRYLIC Varnish Gloss for one even finish.

The Montana GOLD range now has 2 new fluorescent colors to complement the existing fluorescent line. New to the fluore-scent color family is Montana Disco White 9100 and Fluor Transparent. As with the existing fluorescent colors, Disco White and Fluor Transparent offer the stunning visibility in darkness effect (or glow in the dark) when under UV light. However the Fluor Transparent has an added feature in that it is not visible in daylight, thus captivating viewers with an element of surprise when under UV light. Applying thin, multiple layers will enhance and increase the glowing effects. To add durability and protection, the fully dry and cured surface can be sealed with Montana VARNISH Spray in Matt, Semi-Gloss or Gloss. The new Montana GOLD fluorescent Colors will be available in first quarter of 2016.

PROCESS COLOR SHADESInspired by the CMY color properties used in the printing industry, the CMY shades are powerful colors bound to draw attention.

EFFECT & METALLIC COLOR SHADESChrome effects are achieved by having metallic pigment particles located on the surface. This is achieved by the lacquer remaining “open“ so that light can shine and reflect off these particles. However this results in chrome EFFECT shades being less weather resistant and not abrasi-on proof. Finger marks may occur if handling chrome effect sprayed items. Applying Montana VARNISH will offer greater protection and seal the painted surfaces, however they make the paint appear less shiny and prevent it from reflecting light as efficiently.

NEW FLUORESCENT COLOR SHADESFamous for being able to glow under UV light. For best results we recommend fluorescent colors to be applied to pre-primed, dry white surfaces (e.g. Shock White) to increase luminosity and improve coverage. Applying Montana VARNISH will offer greater UV protection however may hinder the fluorescent effect slightly. In general fluorescent colors are less lightfast and not resistant to the elements.

SHOCK COLOR SHADESThe Montana GOLD Shock range was developed as a mini Montana GOLD assortment with the only the most high covering colors within these color scales chosen. This system was also introduced as the water-based ACRYLIC Ink Markers and Refills, making it possible to use the strong, opaque colors in more mediums.

CLASSIC COLOR SHADESBack in the days before manufacturers created high opacity spray paint for the specific use of graffiti art or Urban art, there were a few “clas-sic“ colors that were the preference of many street based artists. The Montana BLACK range welcomes the return of the newly optimised, BLACKOUT Tarblack. This combination nitro-combi & Tar-Mix can is the perfect high pressure 400ml can to cover any chrome effect or metallic colors, wet or dry. The BLACKOUT Tarblack itself has an extremely fast drying time of around 2 minutes in conditions 15 degrees celcius or higher. This is about 3 times faster then normal tar products. With it’s pigmented matt black tar formular, it also of-fers a rich black finish, as apposed to the prominent brown undertones you may be used to from other brands. Loaded with the Black/Orange dot fat cap, be prepared to cover large surface area rapidly and cleanly. Particularly good on non-primed surfaces where paint would usually be absorbed, the BLACKOUT Tarblack leaves behind a beautifully opaque clean line (allow to dry completely before painting over).

MONTANA ULTRA-WIDE 750MLURBAN CALLIGRAPHY TOOL

The largest member in the Montana Cans family is the 750ml ULTRA WIDE can. A ideal tool for contemporary urban calligraphy and ultra wide line work, the ULTRA WIDE can comes in chrome, black, blue and red. With a spray width variation from 15cm if applied rapidly at close range, to approx. 60cm if applied slower at a greater distance to the desired surface. Complimented by a specially developed yellow ULTRA WIDE calligraphy spray cap which is set in a horizontal spray position, users are able to maximize vertical stroke application and achieve a higher vertical spray reach of up to 2m higher than final stroke height. The Montana ACRYLIC marker range has recently been extended to include the colors Copper Matt and Gold Matt. These colors exhibit the highly opaque, excellent coverage and great color saturation that you have grown to love with the ACRYLIC color range. These colors are available in the 0.7mm EXTRA FINE, 2mm FINE, 15mm STANDARD marker and 25ml refills and in conjuction with the Silver Matt to round off the metallic selection nicely. The metallic shades are perfect for all kinds of art, design or decorative applications, especially on dark grounds due to their high coverage and contrast. Sealing with ACRYLIC VARNISH Gloss or Montana VARNISH Gloss spray will enhance their longevity but might reduce the metallic effect. It is recommended always to test before use!

For the Montana ACRYLIC Marker range several replacement tip sets are available. Different tip sizes from 0.5mm thin to 50mm are offered as replacement or alternative tips. Also is the 10mm applicator for the ACRYLIC 25ml. This applicator can be applied to the 25ml bottle and paint output can be regulated by squeezing!

THE MONTANA RACK SYSTEMThe Montana Rack System offers a world of possibilities for your Montana ACRYLIC marker and Montana GOLD presentation. The display‘s basis is an attractive traditional silver (RAL color 9006) can rack structure. The dimensions of the rack are 100cm wide, 200cm high and 60cm deep. The Montana BLACK Marker range offers several types of markers and inks such as the high-quality, alcohol-based Dye Ink that is permanent and UV-resistant. The refillable BLACK Dye Ink Markers as well as the EMPTY Markers are available in different sizes. The Line offers several carefully selected colors as Refills or pre-filled in a classic aluminum body – The sturdy Montana BLACK Dye Ink Marker. The Montana BLACK alcohol-based Marker has 9 permanent and UV resistant Dye Ink colors. The Montana BLACK alcohol based Dye Ink is a low-viscosity ink.
