Residential launches in South India declined by 30% compared to the previous month. The decline in new launches indicates the slowing market activity as developer’s focus shifted towards timely completion of under construction projects and liquidating the existing unsold inventory
As compared to Feb’16, launches in Bengaluru increased by 69%, while Chennai witnessed a decline of 54% during the same period. Launches in Bengaluru and Chennai accounted for about 70% of the total launches witnessed during the month in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad put together
