Monthly Recreational/Non-Commercial Fisheries Talk-Story Session First Meeting WEDNESDAY, November 13, 2013 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Meetings to be held the SECOND WEDNESDAY of every month, 11am-1pm PURPOSE These meetings will provide a time and place for anyone interested in non-commercial fishing to share information and ideas with the NMFS, Recreational Fisheries Coordinator. The emphasis will be on non-commercial fishing issues but any topic of relevance to our local shoreline and boat-based fisheries is important. As the program develops, we may select a particular issue to emphasize for a particular month and bring in NOAA scientists and managers to discuss issues. This is your chance to share information and raise any concerns, issues and recommendations to improve non-commercial fisheries in Hawaii and throughout the Pacific Islands Region. LOCATION Honolulu Service Center, Pier 38 NOAA Fisheries 1139 N. Nimitz Hwy. Ste 220 Honolulu, Hawaii 96817 Tel: 944-2300 Hours: 8am-4pm Monday-Friday, except federal holidays Located at Pier 38, upstairs on the ewa side of the Fresh Island Fish building just mauka from Pacific Ocean Producers. The entrance is located on the Diamond Head side closest to Uncle’s Fishmarket. Note the NOAA office and approved parking in the figure above.
