LATIN AMERICA PARTNERS INSTITUTIONS ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO
* Over first quarter of 2013, institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean decreased their active client by 2,818 clients (‐0.1%). In absolute terms, Mibanco in Peru was the institution in this group with the largest decrease: 21,155 active clients (‐4.2%). In contrast, this group grew its active portfolio by US$174.9 million (17.2%), and also Mibanco/Peru was the institution in this group with the highest decrease in this variable: ‐US$49.0 million (‐2.6%).

AFRICA AND ASIA PARTNERS INSTITUTIONS ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO
* Partners in Africa decreased by 1,093 active clients (‐1.3%). In absolute terms, Sogesol in Haiti was the institution with the highest decrease in this variable by ‐1,501 clients (‐5.3%). also, this group decreased its active portfolio by ‐US$3.1 million (‐3.4%) and Akiba was the institution that decreased more: ‐US$1.9 million (‐4.6%). *Partners in Asia grew by 10,595 active clients (9.0%). In absolute terms, the highest growth was in Saija (India) with 5,710 clients (23%). Furthermore, this group increased its active portfolio by US $3.9 million (12.6%) and Swadhaar (India) was the institution in this group that increased in this variable the most: 4.7 million (28.4%).

By March of 2013, the group of Institutions of Latin America and the Caribbean showed an increase in their portfolio at risk of 0.48 points; it remains below the weighted average of all
institutions by 0.04 points.
The group Partners in Africa increased It’s indicator by 1.43 percentage points. And, it is the group that remains above the total weighted average (3.06 points above).
The group of partners in Asia showed a decrease of 0.82 points. However, it stays 2.22 points below the weighted average of the total risk indicator.
