LATIN AMERICA PARTNERS INSTITUTIONS ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO LAST 12 MONTHS
* Starting in June, Banco Pichincha/Ecuador that includes Credife data became part of this group. Over 2012, institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean increased their active client by 262,799 clients (7.3%). In absolute terms, Mibanco in Peru was the institution in this group with the largest increase: 37,570 active clients (8.6%). Furthermore, this group grew its active portfolio by US$558.3 million (12.3%), and also Mibanco was the institution in this group with the highest increase in this variable: US$114.4 million (7.4%).

AFRICA AND ASIA PARTNERS INSTITUTIONS ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO LAST 12 MONTHS
* Partners in Africa increased by 4,836 active clients (6.9%). In absolute terms, Sogesol/Haiti was the institution with the highest increase in this variable by 2,607 clients (10.9%). On the other hand, this group increased its active portfolio by US$4.3 million (5.7%) and Akiba in Tanzania was the institution that increased more: US$5.4 million (14.9%). *Partners in Asia grew by 3,476 active clients (4.3%). In absolute terms, the increase in this variable occurred mainly by the growth of Swadhaar (India) with 7,955 clients (11.3%). Furthermore, this group increase its active portfolio by US $0.9 million (4.5%) and Swadhaar also was the institution in this group that increased in this variable the most: 0.7 million (6.1%).

By First quarterly of 2012, the group of Institutions of Latin America and the Caribbean showed an increase in their portfolio at risk of 0.53 points; it remains below the weighted
average of all institutions by 0.01 points.
The group Partners in Africa decreased It’s indicator by 1.04 percentage points. However, it is the only group that remains above the total weighted average (1.21 points above).
The group of partners in Asia showed an increase of 0.99 points. However, it stays 1.26 points below the weighted average of the total risk indicator.
