The above graph of the growth of the MTA from it inception in 2006 shows a significantly

increased growth rate during 2012. During the first 4+ years the growth rate seemed quite

stable and linear. Towards the end of 2011, the growth rate seems to have suddenly

accelerated and this faster rate continued, quite consistently, through 2012. This new rate still

appears quite linear, but this data makes it much easier for one to argue that the growth of the

MTA is actually exponential, and just appears linear at the start, as is typical of exponential

growth curves. It will be exciting to continue to monitor this progress during the coming years.
