TRANSCRIPT

Your glorious cause, O God, engages our hearts

May Jesus Christ be known wherever we are

We ask not for ourselves, but for Your renown

The cross has saved us so we pray

Your kingdom come

Let Your kingdom comeLet Your will be done

So that everyone might know Your NameLet Your song be heard

everywhere on earthTill Your sovereign

Give us Your strength, O God, and courage to speak

Perform Your wondrous deeds through those who are weak

Lord use us as You want, whatever the test

By grace we’ll preach Your gospel

Till our dying breath

Let Your kingdom comeLet Your will be done

So that everyone might know Your NameLet Your song be heard

It is good to give thanksTo the God of creation

Who dwells in the heavens above.In His presence we stand

With the great congregationTo sing of His goodness and love,

His goodness and love.

It is good to give thanksFor the world He has fashioned,

The sun and the moon to give light.He determined the number of stars,

And He named them;He rules both the day and the night,

The day and the night.

It is good, it is goodTo give thanks to the Lord,

Singing praise to His glorious Name.It is good, it is good

To remember His loveAnd His faithfulness,

Ever the same.

It is good to give thanksAnd forever exalt Him,

So great is His power and might.And His pleasure is found

In His children who fear Him.Our praise is to Him a delight,

to Him a delight.

It is good, it is goodTo give thanks to the Lord,

Singing praise to His glorious Name.It is good, it is good

To remember His loveAnd His faithfulness,

Ever the same.

And His faithfulness,Ever the same!

I will glory in my Redeemerwhose priceless blood

has ransomed me.Mine was the sin

that drove the bitter nailsand hung Him

on that judgment tree.

I will glory in my Redeemerwho crushed the power

of sin and death;My only Savior

before the Holy Judge;The Lamb who is

my Righteousness.The Lamb who is

my Righteousness.

I will glory in my Redeemermy life He bought,my love He owns.I have no longings

for another,I'm satisfied in Him alone.

I will glory in my RedeemerHis faithfulness

my standing place;Though foes are mighty

and rush upon me;My feet are firm,

held my His grace,My feet are firm,

held by His grace.

I will glory in my Redeemerwho carries me

on eagle's wings.He crowns my life

with lovingkindness;His triumph song

I'll ever sing.

I will glory in my Redeemerwho waits for meat gates of gold;

and when He calls meit will be paradise

His face forever to behold,His face forever to behold.

I will glory in my Redeemerwho waits for meat gates of gold;

and when He calls meit will be paradise

His face forever to behold,His face forever to behold.

Oh, to see the dawnOf the darkest day:

Christ on the road to Calvary.Tried by sinful men,

Torn and beaten, thenNailed to a cross of wood.

This, the pow'r of the cross:Christ became sin for us;

Took the blame, bore the wrath—We stand forgiven at the cross.

Oh, to see the painWritten on Your face,

Bearing the awesome weight of sin.Ev'ry bitter thought,

Ev'ry evil deedCrowning Your bloodstained brow.

This, the pow'r of the cross:Christ became sin for us;

Took the blame, bore the wrath—We stand forgiven at the cross.

Now the daylight flees;Now the ground beneath

Quakes as its Maker bows His head.Curtain torn in two,

Dead are raised to life;"Finished!" the vict'ry cry.

This, the pow'r of the cross:Christ became sin for us;

Took the blame, bore the wrath—We stand forgiven at the cross.

Oh, to see my nameWritten in the wounds,

For through Your suffering I am free.Death is crushed to death;

Life is mine to live,Won through Your selfless love.

This, the pow'r of the cross:Son of God—slain for us.What a love! What a cost!

We stand forgiven at the cross.

This, the pow'r of the cross:Son of God—slain for us.What a love! What a cost!

We stand forgiven at the cross.The Power of the Cross

When I fear my faith will fail,Christ will hold me fast;

When the tempter would prevail,He will hold me fast,

I could never keep my holdThrough life’s fearful pathFor my love is often cold;

He must hold me fast.

He will hold me fast,He will hold me fast.

For my savior loves me so,He will hold me fast.

Those He saves are His delight,Christ will hold me fast;

Precious in His holy sight,He will hold me fast.

He’ll not let my soul be lost;His promises shall last;

Bought by Him at such a cost,He will hold me fast.

He will hold me fast,He will hold me fast.

For my savior loves me so,He will hold me fast.

For my life He bled and died,Christ will hold me fast;

Justice has been satisfied;He will hold me fast.

Raised with Him to endless life;He will hold me fast;

‘Till our faith is turned to sightWhen He comes at last!

He will hold me fast,He will hold me fast.

For my savior loves me so,He will hold me fast.

He will hold me fast,He will hold me fast.

For my savior loves me so,He will hold me fast.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

Who can discern his errors? Declare me innocent from hidden faults. Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

Psalm 19 (ESV)

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;

There is no shadow of turning with Thee;Thou changest not,

Thy compassions, they fail not;As Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be.

Great is Thy faithfulness!Great is Thy faithfulness!

Morning by morning new mercies I see.All I have needed

Thy hand hath provided;Great is Thy faithfulness,

Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,

Sun, moon and stars in their courses above

Join with all nature in manifold witness

To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Great is Thy faithfulness!Great is Thy faithfulness!

Morning by morning new mercies I see.All I have needed

Thy hand hath provided;Great is Thy faithfulness,

Lord, unto me!

Pardon for sin and a peace that endurethThine own dear presence

to cheer and to guide;Strength for today

and bright hope for tomorrow,Blessings all mine,

with ten thousand beside!

Great is Thy faithfulness!Great is Thy faithfulness!

Morning by morning new mercies I see.All I have needed

Thy hand hath provided;Great is Thy faithfulness,

Lord, unto me!

Remember my affliction and my wanderings, the wormwood and the gall! My soul continually remembers it and is bowed down within me. But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”

The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. Let him sit alone in silence when it is laid on him; let him put his mouth in the dust—there may yet be hope; let him give his cheek to the one who strikes, and let him be filled with insults.

For the Lord will not cast off forever, but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love; for he does not afflict from his heart or grieve the children of men.

Lamentations 3:19-33 (ESV)

When trials come no longer fearFor in the pain our God draws nearTo fire a faith worth more than gold

And there His faithfulness is told And there His faithfulness is told

Within the night I know Your peace The breath of God brings strength to me

And new each morning mercy flowsAs treasures of the darkness grow As treasures of the darkness grow

I turn to Wisdom not my ownFor every battle You have known

My confidence will rest in YouYour love endures Your ways are goodYour love endures Your ways are good

When I am weary with the costI see the triumph of the crossSo in it's shadow I shall run

Till He completes the work begunTill He completes the work begun

One day all things will be made newI'll see the hope You called me to

And in your kingdom paved with goldI'll praise your faithfulness of oldI'll praise your faithfulness of old

“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and rend your hearts and not your garments.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.

Joel 2:12-13 (ESV)

I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.

When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:50-58 (ESV)

Amazing grace! how sweet the soundThat saved a wretch like me!

I once was lost but now am found;Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,

And grace my fears relieved.How precious did that grace appear

The hour I first believed.

My chains are gone, I’ve been set freeMy God my Savior has ransomed me

And like a flood, His mercy reignsUnending love, amazing grace

The Lord has promised good to me;His word my hope secures.

He will my shield and portion beAs long as life endures.

My chains are gone, I’ve been set freeMy God my Savior has ransomed me

And like a flood, His mercy reignsUnending love, amazing grace

My chains are gone, I’ve been set freeMy God my Savior has ransomed me

And like a flood, His mercy reignsUnending love, amazing grace

The earth shall soon dissolve like snowThe sun forbear to shine

But God who called me here belowWill be forever mine

Will be forever mine...

You are forever mine
