Where is Morocco?
Morocco is situated in the north west of Africa, and to the west of it is the Atlantic.

The King
Mohammed VI of Morocco succeeded the throne on July 23 1999. He is very highly regarded among the people, almost as a god!

The Capital
Rabat is the capital of Morocco, in the north-west of the country. It overlooks the atlantic ocean.

The Moroccan Dress Code
Clothes are very important in Morocco especially in the rural areas.
Some Moroccans may be offended if parts of your body are not covered, such as the knees and shoulders.

Mens Clothing
Men dress smart and show no skin so no flip- flops, sleeveless tops or shorts.

Womens Clothing
Clothing for women is less strict than men but once again no skin showing so no low cut tops, no tight clothes.

The Moroccan Language
The two official languages of Morocco are Arabic and Amazigh.
