Heather Dwyer, Hall Director Hello Morrill Tower Residents!

I am so excited to have you all

living in our community this

year! I am the Hall Director

for Morrill and look forward

to getting to know you all!

Here are some fun facts about

me:

I went through the Second

City training center and did

improv comedy for 3 years.

I am scared of heights.

I was a varsity cheerleader

in high school.

I got hit by a car twice while

riding my bike...once when I

was 10 and again when I was

16.

I’ve always wanted to be on

Saturday Night Live.

I love Fall and all things that

accompany it!

I sing in the shower...loudly

and without restraint.

I went on a study abroad

trip to Mexico when I was in

graduate school.

I took 3 years of German in

high school but can barely

remember any of it now.

I would really like to swim

with Great White Sharks

sometime during my life.

I love the Christmas season

and love to decorate my

apartment.

Zayd Abukar, Assistant Hall Director Hello residents! I’m Zayd

Abukar (pronounced like

“Paid” with a “Z”) and I will

be one of your Assistant Hall

Directors this upcoming year!

A little about me:

I completed my undergraduate

education at the University of

Louisville, and am currently a

second-year master’s student

in the Higher Education and

Student Affairs program here

at Ohio State! I was the

Assistant Hall Director in

Bradley-Paterson last year, and

absolutely cannot wait to

continue the work that I do in

helping students and doing my

part to maintain a strong

community here in Morrill

Tower! I am an avid sports fan

(particularly basketball), so

don’t be surprised if you find

me in the RPAC playing a few

pick-up games, or in the

Vending Room watching OSU

football and basketball with

you all. I have a great sense of

humor (love me some

stand-up comedy), and one of

my favorite quotes of all time

was said by Bruce Lee: “if you

love life, then don’t waste

time. For time is what life is

made up of.” Think about it!

GO BUCKS!

Chris Wood, Assistant Hall Director I am so excited to be one of

your Assistant Hall Directors

this year in Morrill Tower!

I just graduated from

Otterbein University this past

May with a degree in Speech

Communication and a Music

minor. During my time at

Otterbein, I was involved as an

RA, Orientation Leader,

member of Greek Life, and in a

multitude of other things.

Some interesting facts about

me include that my hometown

has just over 600 people—and

it doesn’t have a stoplight or

gas station. I have also never

been to a wedding, although I

will have been to two by the

end of 2013 (I’m actually in a

bridal-party in December).

I try my best to be a positive

person in all aspects of my life,

living by the motto of “It could

always be worse.”

I want you to know that I am

always a resource for all of the

students here in Morrill

Tower! Please do not hesitate

to stop by and say hello when

I’m in the office or send me an

email if you have any

questions, although your RAs

can help you, too!

I look forward to meeting all of

you soon!
