6 easy steps to securing the right mortgage for you

Begin looking for your new home

01 Preparation, preparation!

Preparing before you apply is key as it puts

you in the strongest possible position. Getting

your credit history and bank statements in

shape, saving for a deposit and maintaining

job stability all strengthen your chances of

securing a mortgage.

02 Meet with a mortgage adviser

Make sure they are not restricted to just

one lender. They will guide you through the

different types of mortgage and fill in all the

documentation for you.

03 Get a mortgage Agreement in Principle

A written estimate of what you can borrow will

enable you to move forward with your house
