As Founder & CEO, Most Influential People of African Descent

(MIPAD), Kamil is a connectologist and global affairs expert who

created a global platform that recognizes high achievers of African

descent worldwide in support of the United Nations International

Decade for People of African Descent to be observed from 2015 -

2024. And, thanks to collective efforts, this decade is now officially

recognized by the African Union. MIPAD honorees are decision-

makers in over 80 countries worldwide. Selected based on

political clout, business acumen, social media following and

humanitarian endeavors to lead the advancements for people of

African descent worldwide. Kamil is a true embodiment of

“Thinking Globally and Acting Locally,” he’s lived, schooled,

worked and/or visited 30+ countries on 5 continents. He generally

considers himself a “global citizen” with a passion for Africa. He

has global corporate experiences working with Mastercard, Exxon

Mobil, Siemens (New Jersey, Munich, Beijing, New York Offices),

World Travel & Tourism Council (London, UK), Merck Sharp &

Dohme (Singapore) etc. And, he has a master’s degree in Global

Affairs with concentrations in Economics, International Relations

and International Law from the Center for Global Change and

Governance at Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA.
