Mothers are a unique people group

A Godly mother (woman) . . . . . . Loves God

A Godly mother (woman) . . . . . . Loves her husband

A Godly mother (woman) . . . . . . . Loves her children

A Godly mother (woman) . . . . . . . Loves others

A Godly woman is called to sacred behavior, a high and Holy behavior, to love and honor God.

As she worships God this causes others to think of God, too, and will move them to worship God along with her. In other words people will not be able to be in your presence without being in His very presence and thinking about Him.

It is as your soul is constantly dwelling on the God you love and serve and on His awesome Holy presence that your behavior will show forth your reverence for Him and motivate others to do the same.

A Godly woman loves. . . God

FIRST!

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Mark 12:30

A Godly woman knows when she loves God first then she can truly love her husband, children and others.

A Godly woman respects and loves. . . . Her husband!

4 that they (Godly older women) may encourage the young women to love their husbands… 5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be dishonored. Titus 2:4-5

A choice to love your husband is a choice to love God by obeying His high calling. And a choice to love your husband is a choice that honors the Lord and is a testimony to His glory. When you choose to love your husband, you become “a good advertisement for the Christian faith.’

When you love your husband second only to God you are not only showing your children and others true love but are demonstrating true Godliness and are wisely full filling your greatest and best destiny.

A Godly woman. . . . loves her children

Titus 2:3-4They (older women) are to give good counsel and be teachers of what is right and noble, 4 So that they will wisely train the young women to be sane and sober of mind (temperate, disciplined) and to love their husbands and their children,

A mother naturally is self sacrificing…

A Godly mother raises her children with a desire “not to just get by” but to raise God fearing children

What does a God fearing mother look like?

She loves her God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength, then passionately, consistently, and unrelentingly teaches her children to do the same. No one has more potential for Godly influence on a child than that child’s God fearing mother. She therefor is to take up the cause, answer Gods call, muster up her courage, and set out to be the best, most faithful teacher of Gods Word and Gods ways to her precious children.“Elizabeth George”

A watching world cannot keep from seeing the results of a lifestyle of love and kindness, and the impact is immeasurable as we simply love all we can by all the means we can in all the ways we can in all the places we can at all the times we can to all the people we can as long as ever we can.
