Actress Reese Witherspoon worries that she is “ruining” her children’s lives.

Witherspoon, who has 17-year-old Ava and 13-year-old Deacon with former husband Ryan Phillippe and four-year-old Tennessee with spouse Jim Toth, says her older children “very rarely” agree with her these

days and she has been turning to her own mother for parenting tips, reports

femalefirst.co.uk.“They very rarely agree with anything you

tell them. And when it comes to a 17-year-old girl (Ava), you begin to see that you don’t know anything about her any more, Witherspoon told OK! magazine.

She added: “I find myself calling my mum and asking her for advice. I ask her, ‘Am I ruining their lives?” (IANS)

Jerry Lewis, the slapstick-loving comedian, innovative filmmaker and generous fundraiser who became famous with classics like “The Nutty Professor” and “The Bellboy,”

has died. He was 91.Lewis died on Sunday after a brief illness in Las Vegas, said

his publicist, Candi Cazau, CNN reported. Cazau has not elaborated on Lewis’ illness.

Lewis first gained fame for his frenzied comedy-and-music act with singer Dean Martin.

When that ended in the mid-1950s, Lewis went solo. By early 1960s, he had become a top draw in movies such as “The Bellboy”, “The Nutty Professor” and “The Patsy”.

Along the way, he pioneered the use of videotape and closed-circuit monitors in filmmaking, a now-standard technique called video assist. (IANS)

Actor Daniel Craig has agreed to cut back on dangerous stunts for the new James Bond movie because his wife is worried he will get hurt.

The 49-year-old will reprise his role as the spy in the forthcoming 25th film in the series but will be opting out of some of the more thrilling stunts after his wife Rachel Weisz begged him to be careful, reports mirror.co.uk.

“It’s a big bone of contention. Rachel doesn’t want him in agony again. None of his aches and pains have gone away completely,” said a source.

“There’s a legacy to all these injuries and she lives with them. They’ve come to an agreement about how hard he will push himself and he is pulling back from the edge this time. It’s a prerequisite,” the source added. (IANS)
