architecturally distinct buildings, or justenjoyed networking with your colleagues,the AVA conference was the place to be.

We had attendees from across the coun­try and as far away as the UK. Our keynotespeaker, Madge Buus-Frank RNC, MS,ARNP, opened this year's meeting with herinsightful presentation on "Health CareTrends 2020." Our conference theme of"Moving Forward with Innovation and Col­laboration" was evidenced throughout manysessions. Multidisciplinary sessions rangedfrom catheter related bloodstream infection,vein anatomy, disaster response, publishingand ultrasound workshops. A spectrum oftopics was included in the roundtable andposter presentations, from neonatal to adult.
