Common Frequently Asked Questions:

1. I am a new joiner and so can I use the same applications to register and reset Mphasis ID password?

Ans: All new joiners need to use the Mphasis ID and the temporary or initial password (the logic to generate the temporary or initial password will be given during the On-boarding process) by the following 2 methods:

a) If you are using Mphasis desktop or laptop connected to Mphasis domain (from any of the Mphasis offices), you will be prompted to change the password upon first login to Windows. Once you have changed your password at the Windows login screens, you can use the MSPR registration portal to register your security question(s) and verify Mobile number so that in future you can change/reset your password using the MSPR reset portal.

b) If you are not connected to the Mphasis network and wanted to use the newly created Mphasis LanID for the first time, kindly access https://appaccess.mphasis.com/mphasis/pages/FirstTimeLoginUser.jsp and change your initial password. Once you have changed your initial password, you can use the MSPR registration portal to register your security question(s) and verify Mobile number so that in future you can change/reset your password using the MSPR reset portal.

2. I am not getting any SMS even if I have registered my Mobile number in PeopleSoft.

Ans: Kindly make sure that you have prefixed the country code before your mobile number. For example, if your India mobile number is 9883344000, then you need to enter 919883344000 in PeopleSoft. If you need to register your US mobile 333-555-6666, then you need to enter 13335556666 in PeopleSoft. Once you update your mobile number in PeopleSoft, kindly allow 24-48 hrs to reflect in the MSPR registration portal.

3. I am unable to change password from MSPR/FIM Client installed on my Mphasis Laptop?

Ans: Kindly make sure your Mphasis Laptop is connected to the Mphasis network when trying to change password via MSPR/FIM client installed on your Mphasis Laptop. In case, if you are not connected to the Mphasis Network then you will not be able to change password via the client.

However, you can access the MSPR Reset Portal (https://unlock.mphasis.com) from any system which is connected to the internet. Else you can access the mentioned MSPR Reset Portal from your Smartphone/Tablet if it has Internet connectivity to change the password.
