Directors' Peer Learning workshop brought innovative conceptsDISHA meeting was held on January 8th 2019. Directors from 5 DSSSs along with MPSSS Director Fr.Kiran were part of the meeting. Meeting was coordinated by Ms. Mamta-Program Officer-MPSSS. Points of discussion of the meeting were the constitution of internal conflict committee, Proposal development refinement assistance, interim evaluation, SDG based documentation on developmental works.

The Learning of Regional Learning Exchange Platform was shared3 days capacity enhancement was held for the community facilitators and Coordinators of Central Zone & West Zone on 22nd to 24th January 2019 and 28th to 30th January 2019 respectively. Total 71 participants from both the zones were part of the training. Training emphasis on food sovereignty & food security. Resource person for the training were team members of PLDP who gained the knowledge visiting trainings provided by trained trainers from various places Nepal, Srilanka, Philippines.

Organization development visit to KDSS, Khandwa The interim evaluation for KDSS team was organized with the support of IDSSS team. The whole

plan for the evaluation was made by MPSSS. During the evaluation IDSSS conducted interim

evaluation of community based rehabilitation project of KDSS. Based on field visit and discussion

IDSSS made a few suggestions for the betterment of the work to KDSS.

Round table discussion on SDG goalsStaffs of MPSSS came together to had interaction on SDG goals.

February 2019. Each staff was assigned the goals from the 17

goals of SDG. Questions were

frame by individual staff keeping

in mind the objective behind the

particular goal. Discussion was

held and suggestions came were

added in the particular goal.

Exposure visit to NATECO Farming3 days exposure visit was organized by

MPSSS for the staffs of the DSSSs at

Dewas district from 5th to 7th March

2019. 28 participants were part of the

visit. Visit was held at Maalpani Trust

of Dewas district. Maalpani trust which promotes Ganga Maa

Mandal technique for saving the life of all malnutrition

children and fulfilling the nutritional needs of a family. Visit

focus on how to do NATECO farming and Methods to address

Malnutrition.

MPSSS staff reflectionStaff Reflection took place from January 11th to 19th January

2019. Reflection emphasis

on the various activities

undertaken to motivate

the team members and

increase the overall

performance of the team.

Team Building activities

are of utmost importance

as they help in the overall development of the team members

and in turn improving the team's performance. It also

strengthens the bond among the employees and they feel

motivated to work and achieve the targets. People come a lot

closer this way. The reflection programme added.

PLDP half yearly review meet Phase III th

PLDP new phase half yearly Review meeting was held from 5 thto 6 February, 2019

at MPSSS, Bhopal.

Coordinators, Coordinators and MPSSS PLD team. First day

meeting had sharing on the achievements & challenges of last

six months work. Second day too sharing continued with the

presentations from the Zonal Coordinators. Lastly the meeting

had discussion on setting of targets for the next six months.

System strengthening and organizational development support to all Diocesan partners and non-profit organizations to meet all compliance criteria.

Initiate and assist partners at all levels of Project Cycle Management (PCM) for thematic

development

SAMANVAYA meetingthCoordinator's forum meeting was held on 13 March 2019 at MPSSS, Bhopal. Participants

included coordinators from different projects of DSSSs, like minded members from Bhopal

NGOs, BSSS College and staffs of MPSSS. The objective of the meeting was to have discussion

on questionnaire of SDG goals.

Tracking of Health situation of the villages

Visit took place at Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh and Bhilai, Bilaspur, Beltoli and Lakhanpur of Chattisgarh by Mr.Balendra-Regional Program Officer in the month

of January 2019. Discussion was held on health analysis plan, impact of wall painting with messages on health, Flip book content, IGP & SSS etc. Further discussion took place with CHCs and CHVs on Open Defecation Free village, 100% Immunization and linkages with social security schemes to disable people and children.

Accompaniment visits brought repositioning in the goalsJhabua: Monitoring and accompaniment visit was held in the month of January at the field of Pragati Sanstha on 2nd and 3rd by Ms. Natasha Sharma-Program Officer. The visit was planned in 3 villages, namely, Kesarpura, Talai & Jharadabar. Interaction took place with the community people in which they share about the work they are doing. Kitchen gardens which were developed by the support of programme team at the field made was v i s i t e d a t 2 v i l l a g e s . Discussion was held on importance of nutritious food that can be grown and also promoting of old traditional seeds.

Communication Skills Enhancement 22 February 2019 training was organized for

JDSSS team at Jabalpur. Objective of the training

was to develop communication skills among the

staffs. Training covered

both verbal and non-

verbal aspects of the

communication.

Orientation on Government SchemesTwo days visit was undertaken at Jhabua from 24 to 25 February 2019.

During the visit meeting was held with the hospitals of Indore cluster.

Participants of the meeting were oriented on Government schemes i.e.

RNTCP, HIV/AIDS, JSY etc. Also Vitamin angel &

Amricare India foundation schemes were discussed.

Further discussion was done on MoUs to be done with

the hospitals.

Monitoring & Evaluation visit to JDSSS, Jabalpur M & E visit was undertaken for two days from 26 to 27 February 2019 at JDSSS, Jabalpur. Objective of the visit was to visit the PLDP project (People Led Development Process) implementation area & monitor the progress of the project & its impact on the community and to interact with the staff. 3 villages were visited. The performance appraisal of the team work too was done during the visits. Visits being done by Mr.Maria Michael -Regional Program Officer, MPSSS Bhopal.

Monitoring visit to Member InstitutionthOne day Member Institution visit was done at Hosangabad district on 28 February

2019. During the visit participants were oriented on schemes of the Government.

Schemes like NBCP, RNTCP, HIV/AIDS, Americare India Foundation, Vitamin Angel

and CSR were discussed. Regional Program Officer-Mr.Balendra Singh Kaurav also

collect consent letter for HIV testing scheme which is available at MPSACS.

Saksham Review Held at Pastoral Center BhopalthSaksham review meeting was held on 26 April 2019. MPSSS Director-Fr.Kiran, Mr.Saju

Zonal Manager-Caritas India , Babita Alik-Manager Operations-Caritas India along with

other partner organization Director's were part of the meeting. Special emphasis in the meeting

was given for promotion of women farmers and traditional agriculture practices.

Sensitization workshop on WHO & FCTC (Framework convention on tobacco control)th

28 March 2019 sensitization workshop was held at Hotel Amar Villas, Bhopal. Key civil society's organization participated into

the workshop which focused on WHO & FCTC. On the same day special AGBM of Madhya Pradesh Voluntary Health Association

took place. Various civil societies' organization, medical practioners gave their contribution in the AGBM held. Fr.Kiran-

Director-MPSSS was part of both the workshop and the special AGBM held.

Regular interaction with the communities Month of March 2019 four DSSSs visits were held as part of regular monitoring &

evaluation. GCSS, Gwalior, KDSS, Khandwa,

Pragati, Jahbua and IDSSS Indore were the

DSSSs where the visits were held. Visit

included the village visits to have interaction

with the community members. Secondly staff

orientation on agriculture aspects was done.

Collate and interpret lessons learned, share among partners and network with members towiden the visibility of church in action.

Manos Unidas visit to MPSSSMeeting was held with Manos Unidas at

thMPSSS Bhopal on 10 February 2019.

Objective of the meeting was to have

discussion and sharing of working of

MPSSS and Manos Unidas. Fr.Kiran,

Director, MPSSS briefs the person from

the Manos Unidas about the work

MPSSS is doing for the marginalized

sections of the society.

SAFBIN ReviewthSAFBIN Review meeting was held on 27 April 2019.

MPSSS Director-Fr.Kiran was part of the meeting. Sharing

of the achievements and challenges were shared in the

meeting. Meeting focused on

the small holder's farmer's

future. What are the possible

ways to support the small

holder farmers were discussed

at the review?

CST WorkshopMPSSS organized a two day workshop on Catholic Social teaching and Caritas India's key Strategic pillars. Directors, sisters and project staff from 9 partner organizations were present for both days. Sessions of the workshop focus on fundamental principles of Catholic Social teaching taken by Fr.Jolly, Executive director of Caritas. Second day Ms Shimrey-Operation Manager-Caritas India took session on strategic pillars of Caritas India.

State Level Lanten Campaign was launched State level launch of Lenten campaign- to address the Malnutrition situation was held on Sunday, March 24, 2019. MPSSS Director-Fr.Kiran, Fr.Jonedius-Director- ANWV, Mr.Saju Zonal Manager-Caritas India and other respective Father's of the church were part of the campaign. Launch of poster- Nutrition Our Right was done as an opening of the campaign.

Networking visit to Social Justice DepartmentNetworking meeting was done

with Social Justice Department.
