1.CorelDRAW--Whenprintingafiletoletter-size

media,selectFittoPaperintheOutputPaperSizesectiononthePapertab.IfyoudonotselectFittoPaper,theimagewillbecutoffononeside.

2.DOS--TheDOScopyandprintcommandsarenotsupported.

3.MSInternetExplorer--Somegraphics(GIF)maynotbeimagedproperly.

4.MSWord--WhenyouopenanexistingWorddocument,Wordpassesitsdefaultmediasizeontotheprinter

driverratherthanusingthemediasizespecifiedforthedocument.

Therefore,ifyouwanttoscaleadocumentdefinedforonemediasizetoprintonanothermediasize,usethefollowingprocedure:

i.InWordgotoFile/PageSetupandchec

themediasize.ii.InWordgotoFile/Printandchoosetheprinter'sPropertiesbutton.iii.Ontheprinterdriver'sPapertab,identifytheOriginalDocumentSize(themediasize

installedinthetray),andthenselectFittoPaper.

1.InvalidPrinterName--Anerrormessagemaybedisplayedwheninstallingtheprinterdriver.Removeanyspacesfromthebeginningorendoftheprinternametextstringtoresolvethisproblem.

1.CancelingJob--Iftheprintingjobiscanceledbycancelbutton,printspeedofnextjobmayslowdown.

2.CancelingJob--Ifapaperjamoccursandyouhavecanceledprintingjobbypushingpanelbutton,thenextjobontheprinterspoolermayalsogetcanceled.

3.Collation--Inordertocollatemultiplecopiesofa

duplexprintjobwithBoo

letLeftBindingorBoo letRightBindingselectedastheDuplex/Boo letoptionontheSetuptab,selectcollationintheprinterdriveronly.Donotselectcollationintheapplication.Thiswillcausethepagestoprintoutoforder.

4.EasySet--IfyouchooseEasySetdefaultsontabsotherthanthePapertab,thescalingandcopiessettingsmaynotbesettothedefault.SetthedefaultsonthePapertabtoresolvethisproblem.

5.Installation(USB)--DuetoaWindowslimitation,you

arerequiredtospecifythelocationoftheprinterdrivertwice.

6.Installation--DuetoaWindowslimitation,whenasecondPagePro1300Wprinterdriverisinstalled,theprinternameinthePrintersfolderisidentifiedas(Copy1)ratherthan(Copy2).

7.JamRecovery--Ifamediajamoccurswhileyouareprintinglargejobs,thecurrentlyprintingjobmaynotberecovered.

8.JamRecovery--Ifamediajamoccurswhileyouare

manuallyduplexingthebac

ofasheetofpaper,theprintercancelsthecurrentlyprintingjob.Ifthisoccurs,youshouldreprintbothsides.

9.Joborder--Ifaprintjobiscanceledandotherjobshavebeenspooled,theorderoftheotherjobsmaybechanged.

10.Networ setting--Thisprinterdoesnotsupportnetwor installorprintersharing.

11.Overlays--Overlayfilesmustbeprintedatthesameresolutionatwhichtheywerecreated.Inotherwords,ifyoucreateanoverlayfileat600dpi,anydocumentswithwhichyouusethisoverlayshouldalsobeprintedat600dpi.Ifyouprinttheoverlayatadifferentresolution,itisautomaticallyresizedand,therefore,placedincorrectlyontheprintedpages.

12.Overlays--Overlayfiles(*.prn)mustbecreatedwithaPagePro1300Wdriver.Ifyoutrytouseanoverlayfilecreatedwithanotherdriver,thefilewillnotprint.

13.Overlays--Printingafilewithanoverlayusestwicethevirtualmemoryofregularprinting.Therefore,itisrecommendedthatyouincreaseyourPC'svirtualmemory.

14.Uninstallation--Ifyouuninstalltheprinterdriver,youmustrestartthePCtocompletetheuninstallation.Otherwise,somefilesareloc edbytheWindowsoperatingsystemandthereforecannotbe

deleted.

15.Installation--WhentheprinterdriverofPagePro1300Wisalreadyinstalled,ifyoureinstalloverwritetheprinterdriverofPagePro1300W,asetupofPagePro1300WPropertiesonapplicationmaynotbereflected.RestartthePCtoresolvethisproblem.

1.Autocontinuesetting--TheAutocontinuesettingin

theMaintenancewindowmaybeautomaticallyenabledordisabledwhenasizeerroroccurs.ItisrecommendedthatyouresetAutocontinueintheMaintenancewindowwheneverasizeerroroccurs.

2."FuserJam"message--TheStatusDisplaydisplaysa"FuserJam"errormessageiftheprinter'stopcoverisopenedwhentheprinteristurnedon.

3."PortBusy"message--TheStatusDisplaymaydisplaya"PortBusy"statuswhentheprinterdriverissendingdatatotheprinter.However,thestatusshouldupdateitselfwhenthedriverfinishessending

data.

4."PrinternotAttached"message--TheStatusDisplayalwaysloo sforthedefaultprinter.Therefore,iftheprinterisnotsetupasthedefaultprinter,youreceivea"Printernotattached"errormessageeveniftheprinterisconnectedandturnedon.

5.UserAccount--TheStatusDisplaydisplays"FatalSpoolerError"whenyouareloggedon
